Join Rebecca Lynne as she leads a two hour generative writing workshop, featuring prompts, inspiration and feedback drawn from the Gateless method. In the mythology salons, a character from mythology will be chosen prior and will be briefly described so there is no need to prepare prior. Then a related poetic prompt will be shared followed by writing and sharing time with feedback following the Gateless method. ALL GENRES ARE WELCOME! Rebecca Lynne is a certified Gateless facilitator. Beginning with presentation of a unique communication or expression, she will lead the group to a prompt and then time to write. She will invite the group to share what each has created, with feedback following the Gateless method. NOTE: This is an online event for the time being! Stay safe, everyone. We start off chatting about our work, including setting goals for ourselves (which is entirely optional but super helpful!), and then we write. That's what it's all about. As simple as the idea is, it's amazing how much more you can get done simply by being in the presence of other writers at work. The baked goods don't hurt, either. There is power for laptops, and some of us use pen and paper. Your choice! And, although we are not a discussion group, there are many areas where people can go if they want to talk without being disruptive.

The Surround provides a brave space for men to connect and be listened to. All men are welcome. For over 12 years, participants have experienced more freedom and effectiveness in relationships, work, and life. The purpose of The Surround is to activate you to explore your life by connecting with, trusting with, and listening with men so that you experience greater freedom, power, love, and peace in relationship. The creator/leader is Alan Cantor who is an Interfaith Minister, Spiritual Director, and Coach. Topics include commitment, listening, ego, faith, trust, connection, gratitude, and many others related to men's lives. We meet weekly, Tuesdays 7-9 PM eastern on Zoom.
