Join us for a beautiful and varied hike along the eastern part of the Circuit du Lac, around Luxembourg’s stunning Upper Sûre Lake. This route offers a perfect mix of forest trails, rolling hills, and breathtaking viewpoints over the lake. Along the way, we’ll enjoy panoramic views of the reservoir, pass through peaceful nature, and cross highlights such as the Lultzhausen floating bridge. This is a moderate but rewarding hike, ideal for those who enjoy longer walks with great scenery. 📍 Hike Details • Route: Circuit du Lac (eastern section – loop) • Distance: ~16.8 km • Duration: about 5 hours (including breaks) • Elevation gain: ~500 m • Elevation loss: ~500 m • Difficulty: Moderate 🚌 Getting there (Public Transport) From Luxembourg City, the easiest route is: 1. Take a train to Kautenbach 2. From Kautenbach, take a bus (line 146) to Esch-sur-Sûre bus stop „an de Gäert“ 🎒 What to bring • Good hiking shoes • Enough water • Snacks or lunch • Weather-appropriate clothing ℹ️ Additional information We will hike at a comfortable pace with regular breaks to enjoy the views and take photos. Short North Street Skates return Saturday, April 4 and we’re excited to get back rolling together. These weekly rollouts are a chance to move through the city as a group, build community, and create more visibility for skating and small-wheeled movement in Columbus. Details: Meet: 1160 N High St 9:30 AM meet 10:00 AM rollout All wheels welcome We’ll be skating through the Short North and surrounding areas at a steady, social pace. Routes will use a mix of streets and bike lanes, so comfort navigating the city is helpful, but you don’t need to be an expert. If you’ve been meaning to come out, this is a great place to start.
