To close this gap, we first need to answer the question: how should contracts assertions behave in the presence of inheritance and runtime polymorphism? In this talk, Timur explores why this problem is harder than it looks. He reviews existing approaches from other languages, such as Eiffel, D, and Ada, highlights why they don’t fully translate to C++, and outlines the key design challenges involved. He then presents a concrete proposal for how contract assertions on virtual functions could work in C++, balancing correctness, safety, and usability. Anyone can play: any ability, any age, and any gender. Terrible Football is about miss kicked clearances, sweet half volleys and desperate diving saves. We play in the rain, sun or snow. It's completely free, and always will be. It's open, inclusive and Terrible. We usually play on Astro (artificial grass) and sometimes on grass, depending on numbers. Bibs, balls, and cones are taken care of! Just bring sporty clothes and a pair of rubber studded football shoes you'll be good to go! Learning the local language is crucial to connect with the locals and developing a true friendship. This can be accomplished with immersion. My goal is to inspire you to go out of your comfort zone and improve yourself each time you join this meetup.

Significantly, in 1976, California wines unexpectedly outperformed French wines in a blind tasting with nine French judges, challenging the perception that only French wines were of the highest quality. This event helped elevate the status of California wines on the global stage and is considered a pivotal moment in wine history. House Wine, in Worthington, modestly, recreates that moment in history with a tasting both American and French wines in a fun, casual atmosphere.
