Parental Alienation support group meeting on zoom
**Please click the link below, it will take you to the contact page on our website. Fill in the contact info and you will receive an automated welcome email with all the meeting times/links and information.**
[https://parentalalienationanonymous.com/contact/](https://parentalalienationanonymous.com/contact/)
or email **parentalalienationanonymous@gmail.com** for meeting info
It is suggested to try 5-6 support group meetings before you make a decision if the meetings are supportive and useful to you. There are 8 meetings during the week with slightly different topics and people at each meeting.
This is a PARENTAL ALIENATION 12 STEP support group meeting.
If you feel like you are always explaining your alienation story, if you fell that close family and friends don't really get it, if you are looking for a safe place to have a shared reality with other folk struggling and if you are looking for tools to support and resource yourself this is a great meeting for you.
The meetings over the last several months have been transformative for me. I have friends now that understand what I am going through and there is no need to explain my vocabulary. There is someone that is or has gone through the same thing as me. I am not isolating as much and feel resourced to show up in my life to a degree I haven't felt in along time.
If you are new to support group meetings I will give you a 2 minute narrative of what to expect. We meet on zoom with or without a camera on. It is suggested to have your camera on.
There is a meeting leader and secretary that run the meeting. The leader reads an intro and then shares on PA or a related topic for 3-5 minutes. After that there is a quick secretary report and then the meetings is opened for all to share. Some folks share, some folks just listen, there is no wrong or right way.
These are closed (alienated folks only) meeting for parents, step parents, grand parents, uncles, aunts and any other family or friends struggling with any form of alienation.
Please message me with any questions parentalalienationanonymous@gmail.com or go to pa-a.org to register for a weekly email with meeting times, locations and links. This will save you having to check your meetup inbox for a link.
I suggest coming 10minutes early to hang out informally before the meeting starts. It a great time to connect and hopefully chuckle a couple of times.
Hope to see you at a meeting.

Friendzy Game Night On Zoom - Play Games, Make New Friends, Have Fun!
Sign up at: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/112531388412
We get it, you're all cooped up at home but still want to have some fun... Grab a cocktail or your favorite snacks because we're bringing a fun social game party directly to your home!
HOW IT WORKS:
Once you sign up, you'll be given a link to join a party of other people via video on Zoom. All you need is a laptop, phone or tablet to take part in the event. You'll enjoy an evening of meeting new people, fun social interactions and games. Our friendly host will be with you live via video orchestrating the event and even making introductions among the group so you'll get to know the other people attending. It's so much fun!
THIS EVENT WILL LIKELY SELL OUT FAST AND WE HAVE LIMITED SPOTS AVAILABLE SO GRAB YOUR TICKET ASAP!
When you login to the event, you'll get to see all of the other participants via video on Zoom. The event host will then pair you off into smaller teams of about 6 people per group and you'll be working as a team against the other groups. You'll be playing fun games like....
* Solving really cool riddles and answering trivia type questions and other questions that are similar to your favorite TV game shows!
* Playing fun games like Taboo, Catchphrase and "Blank Slate" (In Blank Slate, the host will show you a word followed by a blank. For example: Chicken _________. You'll write down a word that follows the word Chicken such as "Soup". Essentially you're trying to predict what will be a popular answer. We do different fun games at each event we throw!
WIN AMAZON GIFT CARDS!
The winners of the event will get to spin our prize wheel to win prizes which include Amazon gift cards!
WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING ABOUT THE EVENT:
"That was an absolute blast! By the end of the event I had already made some new friends. The games were so clever and fun" - Laura D.
"It was the best time I've had in a long time. The host did a fantastic job" - David M.
After the event, we'll leave the event open for about 15 minutes so you can exchange contact information with anyone else from the event. This is a great opportunity to make new friends. Typically about 65% of the attendees are singles so it's even a chance to possibly meet that special someone!
FAQ:
If I have friends or family members that don't live with me, can they be put on a team with me? Yes! We'd say about 75% of participants sign up on their own but if you have any friends or family members that want to join, they can too (simply message the host at the beginning of the event and ask to be placed on the same team as them). Each player needs to buy their own ticket. If you have a family member/s that is same household as you, they are welcome to sit next to you and you can play along with you but each device needs to purchase their own ticket.
If I attended a past event with you, can I sign up for this one? Yes, In fact we never use repeat questions and we always change up the games so feel free to sign up with as many of our upcoming events as you'd like!
How do I join the event? After you sign up on to Eventbrite we will send you a link with an invitation to join the event. We'll send you that link by the day of the event. If for some reason you don't see an email from us by the event date, make sure to check your spam folder in case it ended up there by accident.
What is the age range? All ages (Over 18) are welcome. We usually have a good mix of ages.
How many will be participating? We expect between 15 and 30 people.

Ask questions and share your concerns in a supportive space. Whether you are a parent, or just beginning to consider having a child, you are welcome, and owe it to yourself and your child to be here.

Men's Group meetup
**The idea for this group is to build a community where men can gather together and build connections & learn and grow from each other.**
How we start each meeting is by each of us checking in with our "roses and thorns" aka what are the good things and the bad things going on in your life recently?
Then we will go into a topic discussion.

**COMMUNITY AGREEMENTS**
\*\*THERE WILL BE A ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY FOR NO-SHOWS. IF YOU RSVP TO A MEETING AND FAIL TO SHOW UP WITHOUT NOTICE, YOU'LL BE REMOVED FROM THE GROUP. THIS IS TO PRESERVE THE INTEGRITY OF THE GROUP\*\*
1. Confidentiality - EVERYTHING that is shared NEVER leaves this space so that this space remains safe and sacred. There is a zero tolerance policy for this. If a man is in violation of this, they will be permanently removed from the group.
2. Non-Judgement - we respect and honor every man’s truth so that we may receive the same from others. While we may not agree on everything, we commit to respecting every man’s perspectives and engaging in honorable discussion with one another.
3. Be committed - honor your commitment to this group and to yourself. If you attend a meeting, please commit yourself fully to the meeting. Also be committed to your own journey. When we fail, we own it & clean it up.
4. Speak from the heart - this is NOT a space to “look good”, have the “right” answers, and have it all together. Relax and know you are not alone. Be exactly who you are within the safety of this space.
5. Be supportive - This means always willing to provide encouragement to your fellow men, encourage action and momentum in each other’s lives.. Be willing to challenge each other. Be willing to hold each other accountable.
6. Participation - what you receive from this community will be a reflection of what you put into it. Period. We ask that you share your perspectives, reflect on others, and give/receive support when and where it’s needed.
