Now Streaming on YouTube in English! The Phenomenon Of Healing Documentary
The three-part documentary film THE PHENOMENON OF HEALING gives an impressive insight into the wonderful healings that are taking place in the communities of the Bruno Gröning Circle of Friends. The first part begins in 2006, the 100th birthday of Bruno Gröning (1906—1959) and illustrates the activities of the Circle of Friends in India and Africa. The film also covers the work of the Medical Scientific Group, where doctors verify the healing reports. It also looks into the question of how reputable this group is about help and healing on the spiritual path. The documentary film also looks back at the life and work of Bruno Gröning and the first 20 years after his going home. THE PHENOMENON OF HEALING gives an impressive testimony to the efficacy of a spiritual power that is accessible to every human being, which Bruno Gröning called Heilstrom. Release Your Inner Writer - Monday's at 4pm pacific, 5pm mountain, 6pm central
**Release Your Inner Writer** **Release Your Inner Writer is for anyone who feels they are a writer, wants to be a writer, or those who want to explore writing in a comfortable and supportive setting. We’ll set the stage for you to write creatively with opportunities to share with the group, or not, whatever you’re comfortable with.** Have you ever thought: “I have an interesting story, but I don’t know how to start sharing it with people”? Have you ever thought of writing a book? Do you simply want to start journaling? Every person has a story to share, and all of them are transformational for us and sometimes for others. When we write our thoughts and ideas down, we move internal content to an external device like a notebook or a laptop. By doing this we’re able to clear our heads and uncover one layer after another. **Hosted by Kathy Nutt** **Kathy Nutt** is a creative who uses many media and styles to convey a glimpse into her mysterious, whimsical world. Although mainly focused on the visual arts, she dabbles in the written word and is endeavoring to cultivate a consistent practice of writing, whether it be poetry, essays, short stories, or journaling. Kathy believes a writing practice (along with any creative practice) is a beneficial way to break through the mundane and view our worlds through fresh new eyes. We may discover a breakthrough, change a pattern, or just experience catharsis. Or we may simply arrive in a place of joy. She believes the creative process is more important than the finished product and that creativity is for everyone, not just the gifted few. **CREATING CONNECTION CANADA** is a network of welcoming and inclusive communities committed to sharing authentic conversation, nurturing meaningful activities, promoting holistic wellness practices, and fostering compassionate action. We are LGBTQ+ affirming. People of every walk of life, culture, faith, or tradition, participate in a myriad of connection groups, forming meaningful community within this diversity. As a result, these communities are multi-faceted - expressing the inspirations, aspirations, wisdom, practices, and blessing of all. While we encourage you to share openly, we ask that you do so in a kind and considerate manner. **As a REGISTERED NON-PROFIT** charity working to bring community together through like-minded interests, we welcome and gratefully appreciate any financial support. Tax receipts are provided. CREDIT CARD: http://donations.creatingconnection.ca E-TRANSFER: donations[@creatingconnection](http://creatingconnection/).ca

Marcie's English Conversation Circle
Marcie's English Conversation Circle
Hello! I have been facilitating English Conversation Circles for about 7 years, and have moved to an on-line platform when Covid hit in 2020. We gather every Friday for 1.5 hour and get to know each other as we practice our English in a safe and comfortable space. This is not a class, it is a gathering of folks from around the world who want to practice their English. Here are some guidelines for the group: 1) The primary goal of the group is to practice English. 2) We will all respect each other, be kind, and patient to those whose English is more basic. I hope to see you! \~\~ Marcie

Women's Circle
Women's Circle
Welcome to the The Woman’s Circle! The Woman’s Circle began as a supportive offering during the period of the global pandemic, and has now grown into a warm, fun and nurturing space for inner connection and friendship. Each circle shares a movement, meditation or self-healing practice, and is an opportunity to take a collective breath in sisterhood, providing a helpful pause in your week to recenter and reflect. We meet every Thursday evening 8-9pm PST, over Zoom. This is a free event, although donations are gratefully welcomed! Join our online women's circle community on Mighty Networks where our weekly meditations are posted [here](https://mothertreehealingarts.mn.co/plans/279845?bundle_token=c7ef2f03c9d722bd332dfbb9f9529ca1&utm_source=manual). What to expect: Each Circle works to a similar format starting with the opportunity for introductions. You will then be guided through a movement, meditation or breath practice, to help open and relax the body and mind, and release anything from the day. We may discuss an inspiration point, something to reflect on and how it relates to our lives. Following this, the circle is opened to share reflections and experiences. How to sign-up: All new members are invited to a personal meet and greet 10 minute zoom meeting. This gives an opportunity to share more about the circle. To sign up please visit: www.jesslakin.com/woman-community After completing the waiver, look out for an email with available appointments for the meet and greet. Please note, I am unable to admit you to the meeting before the meet and greet, so please prepare to sign-up early and preferably before 6.00pm on Thursday's to give adequate time to arrange the meet and greet. The meet and greet is a one time meeting, after which you will receive the women's circle zoom links by email. These are sent out around 5pm each Thursday afternoon. If you have been to the circle previously, and would like to attend but you are not on the mailing list please email me directly at connect@jesslakin.com. Any issues with registering, or for general questions please reach out. I look forward to connecting! Warm wishes, Jess Lakin

If you or any of your associates are visiting Denver, be sure to visit us. If you like the meeting we can help them start something similar in your hometown in cooperation with their local chamber or service club and community newspaper. We say it's 1X because if we are successful you will be too busy to come back the next week! _________________________________________________ WE need your help to help YOU! Starting now each Online IDEA Circle will be NEW, we will keep it fresh by using the dynamic Socrates Cafe format (thanks Chris Phillips), but limiting the focus to topics having to do with startup, a one time meeting where anyone can bring their startup problems and opportunities for a Fresh Thought Hunt (FTH,) for more about FTH see the HBR Press book "Just Start." We start and end with a meeting of the whole, the Fresh Thought Hunt itself will take place in groups of 3 through the magic of computer science. RSVP here now to make sure we save a seat for you. ' The NEW IDEA Circle is free and open to anyone and everyone who is starting something new, a new business prior to the first sale, or an established business or an individual who wants to start in a new direction. The only requirement is a clear statement of what you want the Fresh Thought Hunt to focus on for you. The first 10-minutes of each NEW IDEA Circle will be recorded and will be posted on our YouTube Channel for SBCC that has been inactive from it's founding long ago. (On YouTube search for Small Business Chamber of Commerce, Inc. or via Facebook/SmallBizChamber.) We encourage each of our SBCC fellow members to join us at a Socrates Cafe Online, Fridays, Saturdays, 1st Sundays, and Tuesdays, 6:30 p.m. Denver time, 8:30 p.m. Eastern, 5:30 p.m. Pacific, suggest the topic of startup or whatever topic might help you the most, and to eventually form a similar Socrates Cafe and New IDEA Cafe in your local library, coffee shop, or other public meeting place with the sponsorship of one of your local chambers of commerce and your local community newspaper. For more see our Facebook Page via www.SmallBizChamber.org and "Visit Group" to join while it's still free. Once you have started a Socrates Cafe or a NEW IDEA Circle, you will be invited to JOIN OUR NEW SBCC WREN COLLEGE and a FACULTY PEER GROUP, see https://WrenCollege.org for online application for being a faculty member and a student, and to request help starting your new Socrates Cafe. Questions about this are answered each week at our Monday Noon Newcomers workshop. ____________________________________________ We encourage you to: Watch one; Lead one; Start one! Be a startup catalyst for your community by starting an IDEA Cafe with your local community newspaper. Starting in a new direction? No matter what you want to start, a new career, a new project or campaign, or a new business, we can help you start faster, cheaper, and with less risk. The Small Business Chamber of Commerce, Inc. and our free, open meetings and peer groups are inspired by the clubs that formed in London during the English civil war that resulted in Sir Christopher Wren giving the first talk in a Franklin Circle type meeting that eventually became the Royal Academy. Humanist Program
Humanist Program
The Humanist Monthly Program is our longest running event and still a community favorite. In the old days it used to be called "Going to HCCO" and we still like to think of it as our flagship event. We will be hearing from Becca Powell, Director of Advocacy and Outreach at Unchained At Last, an organization whose mission is dedication to ending forced and child marriage in the United States through direct services and systems change. Unchained At Last's mission clearly meshes and addresses several of our Humanist Ten Commitments. Becca will educate us about an issue many of us may not be familiar with--but should be. Food and drinks will be provided at the event. Feel free to show up a little bit early to hang out and talk. Going forward our meetings will be hybrid.
