Connect to Zoom meetup by clicking on the link.
Participants are welcome to join the Main Room starting at 16:00 EST/ 21:00 GMT.
We encourage all participants to sign in promptly by 16:00 EST/21:00 GMT. This allows for sufficient time to generate the full attendee list and assign roles based on your language skill level.
Please right-click on your image in the screen and select "Rename".
Add your French Language Skill Level, ranging from
F1 = Beginner to F5 = Advanced & F6= Exceptional, in front of your name.
For example, "F5 - Jean" or "F3 - John".
This is essential for helping organizers mix and match different skill levels and form pairs for one-on-one conversation sessions.
The organizer will manage each pair using breakout rooms and will rotate partners every 15 minutes. In each session, half the time in French and half the time in English.
Breakout rooms will be opened for conversation sessions at 16:15 EST /21:15 GMT. All individual sessions will conclude at 18:00 EST/23:00 GMT.
Following which we will return to the Main Room to thank you for your participation and get your feedback for future improvements.
Please be advised that this event is first-come-first-served. We look forward to seeing you. Thank you.
Par exemple, "F5 - Jean" or "F3 - John".
Merci

Processing Intense Thoughts & Emotions - Anger
We are all experiencing a menagerie of emotions these days, and not just a lot of them, but intense ones. When we experience emotions to the degree and strength that we are right now, it is important to harness that emotional energy in productive ways or allow them to release in nondestructive and nontoxic ways. Emotions that turn toxic in us only harm ourselves, which can produce physical ailments as well as further cause us mental and emotional turmoil, none of which is healthy.
If you are looking for assistance in processing emotions that may be a little heavy for you right now and help to either use their energy for productive outlets or to release them in healthy ways, please join us in weekly Toxic Thought & Emotion Processing sessions each Sunday at 3:30 ET. We will deal with 1 emotion each week for 4 weeks until further notice: anger, fear, shame (& its cousin guilt) and sadness. The schedule will be as follows:
1st Sunday - Anger
2nd Sunday - Fear
3rd Sunday - Shame/Guilt
4th Sunday - Sadness
Sessions will begin free of charge and if anyone wants to donate to our nonprofit, Liberate From Hate, Inc., we will be grateful.
We will use a Zoom online conference room, so please be sure to register so that you receive the link. Please register here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/processing-intense-toxic-thoughts-and-emotions-registration-108035697680
It is important to register with the Eventbrite site or with the Zoom registration link here in advance of the session so that I can get your information to send you the worksheet we'll be using during the class. The worksheets are key to the sessions.
Please bring a journal or other writing pad to the sessions.

Global Azure - Columbus
The global Azure community is coming together again, and Columbus is officially on the map.
View the session lineup and speakers at [Global Azure Columbus 2026](https://coazure.github.io/cbus-global-azure-2026/)

**What to Expect**
* Engaging technical sessions
* Real-world Azure architecture & cloud-native patterns
* AI, agents, automation, and modern DevOps
* Food and drinks (because learning burns calories)

**Who Should Attend?**
* Software engineers (any language, any stack)

* Anyone who loves solving hard problems with great tools
If you build, deploy, automate, scale, monitor, or optimize in Azure, you’ll feel right at home.

Prompt vs. Paintbrush
AI is changing how art is made. But when does it stop being your work and start being the machine’s?
This month we're going to be doing a panel with with digital image, music, and written word artists, talking about at what point, while using AI in the creation process, does the work become not the artist creation?
We encourage audience participation during this event that will be moderated by Chris Slee.
Whether you’re deep in the field or just getting curious, come connect with others building and exploring AI in Columbus.

What If Your AI Could Be a Team? - Chad Green
**Important time note:** Please plan on arriving between 5:30 and 6:00 as the elevators lock after 6 and you'll need to message us and we'll need to come get you.
The building address is 4450 Bridge Park
The entrance is 6620 Mooney St, Suite 400
You will need to scan your ID at the door to get a visitor badge.
**Abstract**
GitHub Copilot is powerful, but what if you could scale from a solo AI assistant to an entire team of specialized agents working in parallel? This session introduces Squad: an open-source framework for multi-agent orchestration that lets you define teams of AI agents with specific roles, responsibilities, and expertise.
We'll progress from Copilot basics to the Copilot CLI, explore how Agents add autonomy, and see how Instructions and Skills let you customize agent behavior. Then, the climax: a live demo where a Squad team of 3 agents (Lead, Developer, Tester) stands up and builds a working application in real-time, showcasing true multi-agent collaboration.
Whether you're new to AI or exploring how to scale your use of Copilot, this session will show you what's possible when agents work as a team.

Columbus Code & Coffee 85 @ Improving
Columbus Code & Coffee is an inclusive, informal co-working session. People of all skill levels attend, and we love it that way. Many people (optionally) bring projects to work on, and many other people (optionally) socialize the entire time. It's entirely up to you!
**What to Expect at the Intro Circle**
\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~
Near the beginning of the event (1:30 pm), we do a standup:
* Organizer announcements, updates, and logistics
Round 1 - (7 secs max):
* Your name
* What you're working on
* What you can help others with
Round 2:
* Community events you wanna plug. If none, that's cool too.
Round 3:
* Job opportunities you're hiring for OR announce that you are looking for one. If none, that's cool.
After the introduction circle, everything is self-organized! Feel free to work alone, pair up, attend one of our workshops/presentations, or mingle!
CBusData: The Fellowship of the Star Schema: Transforming OLTP Data for Power BI
The Fellowship of the Star Schema: Transforming OLTP Data for Power BI
One does not simply build reports on OLTP data. Join us on an epic journey from the depths of raw, normalized tables to the shining halls of a well-modeled star schema fit for Power BI greatness. We will demystify the differences between OLTP and OLAP, walk through star schema vs snowflake (and why Power BI has a clear favorite), and show you the compression differences between normalized and columnar storage that will make you never look at an OLTP model the same way again.
We will cover the different types of dimensions, when to use them, and how to handle Slowly Changing Dimensions without losing your mind. You will leave knowing exactly how to identify a bad model, how to convert OLTP data into a clean star schema, and how to forge relationships that rule them all.
Whether you are a data wizard, a curious hobbit, or somewhere in between, your models will never be the same.
