This is a free, confidential \*\* in person \*\* support group for LGBTQiA+ identified persons, as well as family, friends, and allies of LGBTQiA+ people. WHAT TO EXPECT: We gather at 6:45 pm. We start at 7:00 pm and end at 8:30 pm. Attendees participate in a sharing circle where people discuss issues, ask questions, offer personal experiences, suggest advice and solutions, etc. Attendees have different journeys and experiences, which makes for a large fount of useful and beneficial information, tips, and advice. You may participate in the discussion, or just observe: whatever you feel comfortable doing. Every meeting is different and you will probably find the discussion interesting. You will feel a sense of being connected to others as they share and discuss issues. The discussion is moderated by a facilitator to ensure fairness and to meet the needs of all the attendees. Topics vary by month and by meeting depending upon the needs of those who attend. New attendees almost universally feel very glad that they attended our support groups. While our support groups are for the LGBTQiA+ community and their loved ones and allies, we would also like to encourage significant others of transgender and gender diverse loved ones to join our support groups. Join us for a relaxed evening **walking meetup at Lakeline Park**, one of Cedar Park’s hidden gems featuring scenic trails, open green space, and peaceful water views. Whether you’re new to the area or just looking to connect with others, this is an easy, welcoming way to get out of the house and into good company. This isn’t a power walk or a fitness challenge, it’s about **movement, conversation, and connection**. We’ll keep a relaxed, easy pace that works for all fitness levels, with plenty of space for casual conversations along the trail. The vibe is low-pressure and social, making it easy to meet new people whether you come solo or with a friend. These walking events are part of a growing effort to create **consistent, low-pressure social meetups around Austin and Cedar Park**, simple ways to show up, get outside, and build real connections. The first is in regard to the actual balloon construction and flight processes. The second is a reference to the payload and what it does during the flight (e.g. images, environmental measurements, etc.). To be clear, there will be two design processes going on in parallel, the balloon proper and the payload. This initial flight is really focusing on the balloon to get that process pinned down and clearly defined. The initial payload should be simple (e.g. digital camera taking pictures). One of the primary design considerations will be the use of CanSat techniques in the design and construction process. We may need to build a technology demonstrator for this (i.e. dummy payload) before the actual flight process. In this hands-on class, you’ll learn to identify local aquatic insect species, how to properly match your Hill Country hatch, and the part our insects play in fly selection and design. This class is fun for kids and adults alike! If you would like to be part of the sampling, please wear waders and boots! Otherwise, the remainder of class will take place on the bank.

Join with us for a peaceful and uplifting gathering and experience the soothing spiritual sound vibration of Kirtan meditation. We'll finish off the evening with a guided deep relaxation. This free event is open to all and offers an opportunity to explore a meditative state through the singing of sacred mantras. This evening will allow you to participate as much or as little as you’d like, whether you prefer to chant along, listen, or simply absorb the peaceful yoga sound.
