Location: Yoga Meditation Group, 13740 Research Blvd., Bldg T, Unit 3, Austin, 78750
Yoga Asana is the physical practice of yoga that includes exercises, breathing, and relaxation. The purpose of Yoga Asana isn't fitness. It is, in part, to take care of the body as our vehicle; and although this may include fitness, it should never be defined by it. Yoga Asana practice gives us the opportunity to become aware of the body and the life force within the body, helping us to experience that we are not the body but rather the eternal being within the body who needs fulfillment on a level that the body cannot satisfy. This experience can then lead us to the deeper yoga practices, which are centered around meditation (the heart of yoga) and spiritual inquiry about our eternal identity and purpose. All of our meditation classes are free and are listed here on Meetup. Let us know if you have any questions. Namaste.
NOTE: We do not require masks. We believe it is important to be able to breathe freely while practicing yoga asana and meditation. If you are not comfortable with this, we have links we can send you that may be helpful in practicing at home.

Live @ Lakeline May 15 WILCO Symphony
**Come out and enjoy live music, food, and fun at Lakeline Park! Bring your lawn chair or share a blanket and relax by the lake while enjoying free live entertainment**
**Deets from park and rec with some Heather advice sprinkled in:**
**There will be food and beverage trucks available starting at 6:30, and the concert starts at 7. There will also be yard games, bubbles and other “kids” activities (that I may or may not also enjoy) and there are some other things as well. Feel free to bring your outdoor activity of choice as appropriate. I have brought my “big” camera, some people bring balls, etc. Maybe I will bring some sort of creative activity to share. We’ll see what Heather feels like on the occasion.**
**Dog friendly, inclusive activity.**
**I will attempt to arrive by 6 to pick a group spot. I tend to sit farther from the stage to reduce the volume a little bit. Feel free to come and go as necessary. I will hopefully remember to bring both of my picnic blankets which I am happy to share. I recommend bringing your lawn chair if you have one, especially if you have mobility issues.**
**This is the final of Live @ Lakeline 2026 concerts and this week is the WILCO Symphony.**
All Aboard for the “Mexican Train!"
It doesn't matter if you're a dominoes aficionado or have never played before--if you love to play games and have fun, come join us! Mexican Train is a great game that involves both luck and strategy, but it's easy to learn. We meet monthly, and if you 'd like to have the group meet at your house, I'm sure we'd love to! In the meantime, it's at ours.
Bring a sweet or savory snack to share, your favorite beverage AND DOMINOES if you have a set. We chat and chew from 6:30 to 7 and will start playing at 7. (you can continue to snack while we play), but come early to visit and nosh for a bit before we start. BYOB
We always end the night with a hilarious game of CATCHPHRASE.

## A Space For Those Who Practice Reiki To Come Home To Themselves.
## Whether you’re newly attuned or have years of experience, (or even years of inexperience) this in-person Reiki Share is where your practice deepens, your energy resets, and you remember why you started.
## **What This Is**
This isn’t a class.
This isn’t a performance.
And you don’t have to prove anything here.
This is a **Reiki Share for people who have been attuned to Reiki (any kind)** —a space to practice, receive, and connect with others who understand the quiet, powerful language of energy work.
You’ll give Reiki.
You’ll receive Reiki.
And you’ll leave feeling more like yourself again.
## **You’ll Want to Be Here**
Because even practitioners need support.
Because giving all the time without receiving wears you down.
Because your intuition sharpens when you’re in a room with others doing the same work.
Because sometimes you just need to **lay down, breathe, and let someone else hold the space for you.**
## **What to Expect**
* A welcoming, judgment-free environment
* Guided opening to settle your energy and focus your awareness
* Structured hands-on Reiki exchange (so everyone gives and receives)
* Time for quiet reflection and integration
* Optional sharing and connection (no pressure to speak)
No egos. No hierarchy. Just real practice.
## **Who This Is For**
This space is for people who:
* Are attuned to Reiki (Level 1, 2, or Master)
* Want to **practice without pressure**
* Are craving **connection with like-minded people**
* Feel a little disconnected from their practice and want to come back to it
* Know that receiving is just as important as giving
If that’s you—you’ll fit right in.
