Where she already had a distinguished career as an underwater camera woman, artist and teacher to her credit prior to moving to Ireland 25 years ago. Her paintings and drawings of sea creatures and animal skulls comes from a deep contemplation passion for the natural world, and no more so than in her ‘ Bog Bodies’ a collection of paintings and drawings of these remarkable finds in the Irish Bogs. Here she again skillfully portrays with a rich tonality the humanity of these bodies that have lain pressed in the peat for thousands of years. Sahoko has exhibited extensively in Ireland and abroad, including The National Gallery of Ireland, Gormleys, The Royal Ulster Gallery, RHA Banquet & RHA Annual exhibitions. Sahoko is a tutor on advanced drawing courses at National Gallery of Ireland since 2007 as well as life drawing classes in Alexandra college, South Dublin ETB Colleges and Royal Hibernian Academy.

We reward creativity and encourage everyone to create something different. **I'M GOING TO BE LATE, CAN I STILL COME?** Yes we don't usually start exactly on time. Guided Tour of The Crypt, Pro-Cathedral
Guided Tour of The Crypt, Pro-Cathedral
Come join me as we venture on a guided tour of the Crypt of St. Mary's Pro-Cathedral in Dublin. It serves as the burial place for Roman Catholic Archbishops of Dublin, with a history spanning over 100 years. It notably houses the remains of Cardinal Paul Cullen, who died in 1878 and was moved to the Pro-Cathedral following the sale of Clonliffe College in 2021. **Location:** **The Pro-Cathedral is located on Marlborough Street in Dublin city centre** **Cost: I will collect €10 per person before the tour.** **Meeting: Outside its front doors at 2.50pm.** **Time of tour: 3.15pm -4.30pm** While the cathedral was built as a 'temporary' arrangement in 1825, the crypt functions as a permanent resting place for prominent Dublin clergy. The crypt at St. Mary's Pro-Cathedral is distinct from the tourist-accessible crypts at St.Michan's Church or Christ Church Cathedral, focusing primarily on clerical burial and other surprising tombs and vaults. **Please only RSVP if you are free on this date.** **Please wear appropriate footwear.** **The Crypt is not suitable for people with mobility issues due to its uneven ground in parts inside.** **Members are responsibile for their own Health & Safety** I look forward to seeing you there

📚 Books & Social 🍸
📚 Books & Social 🍸
📚Reading books and discussing them are two distinct experiences! Conversations about books and sharing insights help us better appreciate literature and enrich our lives. Let's grab a drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) and discuss books we're currently reading or have recently enjoyed—whether poetry, fiction, or non-fiction. Bring your physical book or e-reader. There's no formal structure or agenda—just books and good conversation.💬 It's a perfect place to get book recommendations and rediscover your reading momentum if you've hit a slump. We welcome readers of all backgrounds and interests! ⚠️**Something Happened?** If something unpleasant happened to you, it may happen to others. Even if it seems minor, don't hesitate to reach out to me. 🔍 **How to find us?** * When I reach the venue, I'll leave a comment in the meetup where the group is seated. Normally, the booking is in my name, so you can ask the staff for the group. * If you're unable to find us, leave a comment in the meetup page. I'll be able to guide you. We highly encourage you to move between tables and strike up conversations with fellow book lovers. These discussions about literature and reading recommendations are often the highlight of the event! As an organizer, I'm always looking for feedback about the event and suggestions for new events, so feel free to suggest ideas to me. 💡 I look forward to seeing you all! 😊
