Cocktails & Karaoke Night in Nice
🎤 Karaoke Night at Les Folies d'Edmonde
— Nice's most iconic cocktail bar
You don't need to be a great singer. You just need to show up.
Every week, we take over one of Nice's most charming cocktail bars for a night that mixes killer cocktails, your favorite songs, and the kind of crowd that cheers louder when you forget the lyrics.
Whether you grab the mic every round or happily cheer from your seat, you'll fit right in. People come solo, in pairs, in groups — and leave as friends.
🍹 What to expect:
— A proper cocktail bar, not a karaoke box
— A huge song library: classics, guilty pleasures, current hits
— A warm, no-judgment atmosphere
— Great cocktails (one drink per person required, softs are fine too)
📍 Les Folies d'Edmonde, Vieux-Nice
Just show up. The mic will find you.
Conscious Dance in Nice
In May I’ll be starting a new cycle of 4 Monday morning sessions of Conscious Dance at Shamballa Esapace:
*Root, Flow & Release*
Each session will explore a different theme:
🥁 Rhythm & Grounding
🌊 Flow & Fluidity
🪵 Resistance & Awareness
🌿 Release & Elasticity
A journey to keep listening to the body, moving and letting go… always in a space without judgment.
The sessions will be held in English, with Italian and French translation always available.
And because I truly value continuing this path with you,
I’d love to offer you a surprise in June if you join the entire May cycle

Meeting BTOB : Business to Beers ! 🍻
* Pas de prospection agressive
* Pas de pitch chronométré
* Pas de "tiens, voici 10 cartes de visite, distribue-les"
* Pas de discours commercial déguisé en discussion

***
Welcome to **L’Apéro du Code**!
After work, we meet at a bar to chat about tech, meet other developers, and enjoy a relaxed evening with a drink and/or a snack.
The vibe is casual: we talk tools, frameworks, ideas, and real-world experiences. If you feel like it, you’re also welcome to show a personal or professional project, ask for feedback, or do a quick demo—but it’s totally optional.
All languages and skill levels are welcome: beginners, experienced devs, students, freelancers, and full-time engineers. Come as you are, even if you don’t have anything to present.
No commitment—drop by whenever you like.
AI: The Good, The Bad and The Overhyped
AI is everywhere. Or is it? Depending on who you talk to, it's either transforming businesses overnight or creating more work than it saves.
The truth? It's somewhere in the middle — and that middle is where the interesting conversation lives.
This is an informal roundtable for entrepreneurs, business owners and managers who are curious, skeptical, excited or just plain confused about AI and what it actually means for their work.
No slides. No pitch. No agenda beyond an honest conversation about what's working, what isn't and what's worth paying attention to.
Come prepared to share your real experience — good, bad and overhyped. Leave with a clearer picture of where AI actually fits in your world right now.
Facilitated by Allison Glass, founder of Zazzo Group — an AI and operations advisor who believes a little honest thinking at the start goes a long way.

**Abstract**
Like it or not, AI agents are now capable of turning a quickly written paragraph of requirements into a pull request that is ready to be integrated into real-world production applications and it's now our responsibility to make sure AI doesn't go rogue and take down prod - or corrupt our data by misunderstanding the requirements or our existing schemas. In this session we'll explore strategies to protect our codebases through unit and integration testing, documentation, and code review along with additional ways of providing context and guard rails to our AI agents as they carry out the work we've assigned them to do. By the time we're done, you'll have a firm grasp of the problem and understand some helpful options for protecting your codebase from vibe coding mishaps getting YOLOed into prod.

Feel Good Friday: POWER BALLAD at the Gateway Film Center + SHAKE NO. 8!
Join us as we get together to see Paul Rudd in the latest comedy-drama-musical from John Carney, POWER BALLAD! The film follows a washed-up wedding singer, a fading boy band singer and a stolen hit song. Here’s a description, trailer and plan for this event:
DESCRIPTION: Rick, a washed-up wedding singer, and Danny, a fading boy band star, bond over music and a late-night jam session. When Danny turns Rick's song into a hit, Rick sets out to reclaim the recognition he believes he deserves. Power Ballad is written/directed by John Carney, the master of the modern musical and creative mind behind Once, Begin Again and Sing Street! It stars Paul Rudd, Nick Jonas, Peter McDonald, Marcella Plunkett, Havana Rose Liu and Jack Reynor.
BUZZ & ACCLAIM: The film premiered to rave reviews at this year’s Dublin International Film Festival where critics call it “a sure-fired crowd-pleaser” that “just might be the feel-good hit of the year!” Others say, “Paul Rudd delivers a career-best performance in this charmer” that’s both “hilarious and deeply moving!”
