How does it work?
Get paired with native speakers in a series of 10-minute conversations during every two-hour session. Attending as little as two times a week, for 2 hours at a time, you’ll meet and practice with an unparalleled number of native speakers.

There is no shortcut to Spanish fluency - but Spanglish is so fun you won’t want one! Spanglish starts during the 30 minute check in: Get to know the other Spanglishers – about half of the attendees at every event are new! After a little bit of ice-breaking, you’ll head to an assigned table for your first one-on-one conversation. No need to worry about making mistakes – the person sitting across from you is in the same boat! You converse for 5 minutes in english, 5 in Spanish – and then move on to a new conversation partner. By the second rotation we promise you’ll be having so much fun you’ll forget you’re learning.
What do we talk about at Spanglish?:
Whatever you want! There are no set topics. We talk about everything from our favorite superheroes to our favorite restaurants – it’s the best way to practice another language – hanging out in a relaxing environment and talking about stuff you know and like!

Breathwork
El Breathwork es una práctica de respiración activa y consciente que nos invita a entrar en un estado profundo de conexión con el cuerpo, las emociones y la energía vital.
En esta sesión vamos a trabajar a través de un patrón de respiración específico que permite liberar tensiones acumuladas, desbloquear emociones estancadas y expandir la conciencia. La respiración se convierte en un puente: entre lo que sentimos y lo que muchas veces no podemos expresar con palabras.
La propuesta es abrir un espacio seguro y contenido donde puedas entregarte al proceso, soltar el control mental y permitir que el cuerpo guíe la experiencia. Acompañaremos con música, guía verbal y momentos de integración para sostener todo lo que emerja.
Durante la sesión pueden aparecer sensaciones físicas, emociones profundas, memorias o estados de claridad y expansión. Todo es bienvenido: no hay nada que “hacer bien”, solo respirar y dejar que el proceso suceda.

Hike Pickerington Ponds
We'll hike 3.4 miles on the Killdeer and Yellowlegs Trails - both out and back gravel trails. If we want more mileage we can repeat an out and back. Pace of around 3.5 mph, no one left behind and those who want to go faster sure can!
As always optional lunch after.
This is the second Metro Park in the lineup for me - with 21 to go (plus more are being added).
Hike Blacklick Woods and The Canopy. Optional lunch after.
Over time I'm hoping to organize a hike to all the Franklin County Metro Parks. This is the first one so if you're interested jump in!
We'll start with the Canopy Walk, a cool feature of this park. Climb 100 stairs to the top - or take the elevator if stairs aren't your thing. At the top there are a bunch of things to play on - a rope bridge, a fireman pole that we can slide down - and more! About fifteen minutes there and we'll head to the natural trail, Buttonbush, Maple and Beech Trail for 2.2 miles then do a 1.7 mile loop on the paved Greenway Trail. We'll be passing our cars as we transition if you only want to do the first loop, or the second loop. Pace of around 3.5 mph but no one left behind.
If there is an interest we can grab lunch nearby afterward.

This is a free, in-person meeting on the subject of betrayals, losses and how to get over them so you can build lasting relationships.
Burdened by a stressful relationship? Unhealthy relationships can trigger feelings of anger, despair or self-doubt. They can create dwindling spirals of fights and seeking to make-up, or trying to “pin the blame” on someone or something. If you don’t find the RIGHT reasons, or select the correct sources of the problem, the problem can just get worse and worse.
Whether in love or personal ties, with friends or at work, our life really IS affected by the quality of our relationships. Good ones can promote pleasure and survival while less optimum ones can lead to annoyance, anger, self-doubt, stress, or even affect our health and ability to survive well.

Dwindling relationships can involve destructive behavior, where we hurt those we love, or start succumbing to self-destructive thoughts, attitudes or behaviors that spiral out of control and affect much more than our immediate relationship.
Past losses in love or life can affect how we act or react to new people and situations and hold us back from even starting to create new, possibly great relationships! How can one get back onto a saner course of action?
