Horse Racing

This event is for anyone seeking a social run with like minded people. It will consist of 2 loops. the first loop will be run at 6 20 - 6 30 per km pace and will be about 7 km in length. We will then join with the main Dublin Runners group at 9:00 am back at the Visitors Centre (VC), where a variety of pace options will be available. This second loop will be approximately 10 km to 12 km. So you can choose to join at 8 15 am or 9 00 am. Please arrive 5 mins early as we are firm about start times. We usually finish with tea and cake in the cafe in the VC. If your pace is lower than 6 30 per km for about 8 km this run may not be for you. Some people are using this to prepare for the Dublin half marathon on the May bank holiday weekend. if you have any questions contact Harry.

Mix of paces in this group from 6:30 min per km to close to 5 min per km. For those that want to do a longer distance, they will probably start earlier and link up with us for 9AM If you are doing one of the earlier runs (Such as Harry's run), please sign up for this too. We’ll be playing for about 1.5 to 2 hours, you do not need to bring any equipment, and no experience is needed. We use a specific set of rules and equipment to make the games run better and keep them fun for everybody, not just people who already know how to play. If it rains, the event will be canceled.
