Presence in Heat 🔥 A Loving-Kindness Meditation Experience
Presence in Heat 🔥 A Loving-Kindness Meditation Experience
Life gets loud. This is your monthly invitation to pause. Join us for a guided meditation inside the infrared sauna at HWX Brushy Creek. We use the heat as a space to slow down—through gentle breath, loving-kindness, and quiet presence—so you can release what’s been building and return to yourself. **The experience includes:** * 30 minutes of guided meditation in the sauna * A few moments to soften, reset, and integrate **Meditation + Infrared Heat** The combination of meditation and infrared heat creates something unique— a space where the body releases and the mind settles. Some people describe it as “therapy without talking.” If you’ve never been to HOTWORX before, this is a simple and welcoming way to experience the studio—no workout required. No meditation experience needed. Just come as you are. * To keep the space intentional and comfortable, this session is limited to 5 participants. If it fills, you’re welcome to join the waitlist * Please arrive a few minutes early to complete the facility waiver **—** Guided by Sam Neseim, meditation teacher, coach, and owner of HOTWORX Brushy Creek. Sameh creates spaces where people can slow down, reconnect, and return to what’s true—integrating presence, inner awareness, and real-life leadership. Come as you are. Let the heat hold you. Let the practice meet you. **We'd love to have you there!**

Donations are gratefully accepted! Click [here](http://yogameditationgroup.org/donations/) for ways to donate. Location: Yoga Meditation Group, 13740 Research Blvd., Bldg T, Unit 3, Austin, 78750 Yoga Asana is the physical practice of yoga that includes exercises, breathing, and relaxation. The purpose of Yoga Asana isn't fitness. It is, in part, to take care of the body as our vehicle; and although this may include fitness, it should never be defined by it. Yoga Asana practice gives us the opportunity to become aware of the body and the life force within the body, helping us to experience that we are not the body but rather the eternal being within the body who needs fulfillment on a level that the body cannot satisfy. This experience can then lead us to the deeper yoga practices, which are centered around meditation (the heart of yoga) and spiritual inquiry about our eternal identity and purpose. All of our meditation classes are free and are listed here on Meetup. Let us know if you have any questions. Namaste. NOTE: We do not require masks. We believe it is important to be able to breathe freely while practicing yoga asana and meditation. If you are not comfortable with this, we have links we can send you that may be helpful in practicing at home. YogaMeditationGroup.org info@YogaMeditationGroup.org (512) 774-4964

Becoming the Unfinished Man
Becoming the Unfinished Man
Most men don’t lack potential. They lack **clarity, regulation, and direction**. This gathering is for men who feel they are in a transition — between who they’ve been and who they know they’re becoming — and want a space to think clearly, speak honestly, and move forward deliberately. There will be room for listening. There will be room for receiving. This is not about pretending to have it all figured out. In this session, we’ll explore: * What stage we feel like we're stuck in. * How to align Identity with our actions * How emotional regulation creates confidence and authority * What it actually means to “work on yourself” in real life * How to move even when others around you are stuck The format is conversational, reflective, and practical. You’ll leave with **clear distinctions, grounded insight, and a stronger internal compass** — not hype. You don’t need to be confident. You don’t need to be complete. You just need to be honest about being **unfinished**. This is a room for men who are still becoming. This group is best suited for men who value reflection, responsibility, and growth over blame or posturing.

The Story So Far: A WiA Reflection Circle
The Story So Far: A WiA Reflection Circle
A WiA Collective Wisdom Exchange At the start of this year, we gathered to look back, set intentions, and imagine the next chapter. This is the follow-up. Not a check-in. Not a progress report. A small, facilitated circle to reconnect with what you said mattered — and honestly explore what’s actually happening now. Together, we’ll explore: • What you intended at the start of this year - and what that looks like three months in • What’s surprised you, supported you, or shifted • What the next chapter needs now that you know what you know If you were at our January gathering, bring whatever you made or wrote — your word, your artifact, your intention. We’ll look at it with fresh eyes. If this is your first time, you belong here too. You’ll start where we all started: with what’s true right now. Optional art materials will be available for anyone who wants to reflect creatively alongside conversation. If you brought something home from January, you’re warmly invited to bring it back. The intention is the same as always: everyone leaves feeling more clear, more connected, and a little lighter. Space is intentionally limited to keep the experience intimate. What to Expect • A small, welcoming circle (not a large meetup) • Structured conversation so everyone has space to speak • Reflection, listening, and lived experience — not advice-giving • Optional creative reflection alongside conversation • A calm, supportive environment Who This Is For Women and underrepresented folks working in or around agile, product, technology, leadership, or organizational change — especially those looking for honest conversation and community beyond frameworks and buzzwords. Good to Know • No preparation required • If you attended in January, we invite you to bring anything you created or wrote (or something that represents your intention at the start of the year) - it’s optional but invited • Participation is invitational; listening is always welcome • Creative activities are optional
