This is a relaxed, casual meetup: **no hardcore competition**, just friendly rivalry. 👉 **Please RSVP only if you plan to attend.** **👉 Most people on the waiting list would be moved to the “Going” list.** **How to Play (Quick Guide):** *** Setup: **Build the island with hex tiles, place number tokens, roads, settlements, and give each player starting resources.** *Turn order: **On your turn, roll two dice to produce resources, then trade and build.*** Resource production: **Players gain resources (wood, brick, sheep, wheat, ore) from tiles next to their settlements/cities when the tile’s number is rolled.** *Robber: **If a 7 is rolled, players with too many cards discard half; move the robber to block a tile and steal a card. *NOTE: Friendly robber rule: We play with the friendly robber rule, which means that the robber cannot be placed on a player with less than 3 points.**** Trading: **Trade resources with other players or with the bank (usually 4:1, better with ports).** *Building: **Spend resources to build roads, settlements, cities, or buy development cards.*** Victory points: **Earn points from settlements, cities, development cards, Longest Road, and Largest Army.** *Winning: **The first player to reach 10 victory points on their turn wins. *2-Hours-Max: If no one reaches 10 points by the end of the second hour, the player with the most points wins.
