This class is an introduction to a variety of dance styles that comprise Afro-Latin. Focus will be placed on the three types of rumba: yambú, guaguancó and columbia. Basic steps of Orichas such as Eleggua will also be practiced. Who should do it: This class is great for beginners who are looking to add flavor to their dancing. Be prepared for a workout! Hosts and regulars will also provide numerous popular games but please bring any games you would like to teach and/or play. Doors open at 6, and we expect gaming to be rolling by around 630.
