El objetivo principal de estos encuentros es enriquecernos con las perspectivas de los demás, no convencer a los demás sobre nuestras propias perspectivas. Nuestras reuniones son sobre nuestras propias filosofías de la vida y no necesariamente lo que los grandes filósofos y académicos han dicho o escrito. No es un club de debate o una plataforma para hacer proselitismo. En cambio, ponemos énfasis en cuestionar, tener una mentalidad abierta y desafiar nuestras propias suposiciones mientras escuchamos y respetamos las opiniones compartidas por otros. Una reunión de Socrates Café se considera un éxito cuando los participantes dejan una discusión con muchas más preguntas de las que tenían al principio. 5. ¿QUÉ TEMA SE DISCUTE EN EL MEETUP? Los participantes sugieren temas al principio de cada reunión. Luego votamos y elegimos el tema más popular de ese evento para la discusión. ### ¿Qué son las constelaciones familiares? Una constelación familiar es un método que nos permite dilucidar esos eventos que han podido causar un impacto profundo, a partir del cual, la armonía familiar se ha visto perturbada, estas dificultades pueden ser tanto de convivencia, de salud, de profesión, de pareja, etc. y sobre las cuales no se tiene control. A través de la puesta en escena que nos permite la constelación podemos tomar conciencia del origen del conflicto. Recreando la organización de la familia, o de cualquier otro sistema, las relaciones dentro del mismo se hacen visibles y con ellas las causas que han generado el conflicto pueden aclararse. Los participantes observaron como las dinámicas no resultaron les han estado aparecido, a veces, desde la infancia. Esa visualización y las propuestas de reparación por el terapeuta, rescatan al “paciente” de la culpa y le permiten recrear una nueva y liberadora imagen de solución. ### ¿Cómo puedo hacer mi constelación familiar? Así, surgió la propuesta de traer a nuestro club esta obra que se considera la primera de ciencia ficción moderna. Escrita por una jovencísima Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley, por entonces, Mary Godwin, *Frankenstein* o *El moderno Prometeo* nació a partir de un juego literato en una aburrida jornada de lluvia de 1815. Se publicó en 1818 y aún hoy alimenta nuestra imaginación. **Sobre la autora** La escritora británica Mary Wollstonecraft Godwin, más conocida como Mary Shelley, es una figura fundamental, mítica, de la literatura universal. Pionera del gótico y de la ciencia ficción, fue hija del filósofo radical William Godwin y de la pensadora Mary Wollstonecraft, autora de *Vindicación de los Derechos de la Mujer*. Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley, además de *Frankenstein* o *El moderno Prometeo* (1818), escribió entre otras novelas *El último hombre* (1826), *Lodore* (1835), *Falkner* (1837) y *Mathilda* (escrita entre 1819 y 1820 y publicada póstumamente en 1959). También fue autora de cuentos y relatos de viaje.

See if it’s true for you at 10AM on Saturday mornings. Be it a book, blog, script, essay, dissertation, resume, melody, poem or just plain work stuff, you are invited to write it with us. No one will see what you've written or give you unsolicited advice. Instead of just thinking about writing, come and get some real writing done.
