The Williamson County Art Guild is hosting a paint out for the Art Stroll festival, and they have invited us to participate! Come out and paint anywhere on or around the square in downtown Georgetown from 4-7 p.m. At 7:00, meet up at the Art Guild Gallery located at 708 S. Rock St., Georgetown for an informal showing to see what everyone has created! There will be art shows, vendors, live music, demonstrations and so much more happening in Georgetown during this event. There will also be yard games, bubbles and other “kids” activities (that I may or may not also enjoy) and there are some other things as well. We’re still working to get more people into these Meetups, but our goal is to give PlayYourCourt members a few social tennis outings each week in addition to your practice sessions and Challenge League matches. These Meetups are co-ed, super laid back, and all skill levels are welcome. Post your skill level and a suggested court in the comments section so we can round up as many players as we can for some tennis fun! Casual open play pickleball for all levels, including beginners. Equipment: You will need to purchase a paddle, or you can rent one from the front desk. We play with “outdoor” balls. Usually our group has some but it’s a good idea to bring them just in case. I highly recommend wearing a good quality court shoe and comfortable athletic wear.
