Lifeboat Monthly In-Person Meeting at Cover 3
Lifeboat meets in-person the first Wednesday of each month at Cover 3 on W. Anderson Lane in Austin from 6pm to 8pm. No need to rsvp. We typically sit at a high-top table near the bar. If you don't see us, ask the hostess for the "Lifeboat men's group."
(FYI: We also meet every Monday online at 6pm (Central Time) via Zoom. Join us at: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/86310548398 (password: divorce))
Lifeboat is a casual meeting of men supporting men going through separation and divorce.
Separation or divorce is one of the most challenging life experiences a man can go through. It is even harder for men who try to “go it alone.” Lifeboat is a place for men to share their journeys.
Lifeboat is attended by men who see separation or divorce in their future; men currently going through it; and men who have come out on the other side.
(Austin men's divorce recovery group, Austin men's divorce support group)

Brushy Creek Regional Trail
Let's hike Brushy Creek Park Trail and walk for 1.75 hours for a total of 4.5 miles. This trail is paved so you don't need any hiking boots, but be sure to bring two or more liters of water. Well behaved dogs are welcome on the trail.
Here is some more info on the trail located below:
https://www.wilcotx.gov/1288/Brushy-Creek-Regional-Trail
https://www.wilcotx.gov/1293/Twin-Lakes-Park
If you need to contact me, my phone number is 281-876-7746.
We will meet at the pavilion in the parking lot and I will attach a picture.
NOTE: In the event of bad weather, I will issue a cancellation notice at least one hour prior to the event's start time.
Please note meetup has had a massive increase in price and has nearly doubled the fee to organize clubs. If you like the club and want to donate you can pay Kevin by Venmo [here](https://venmo.com/u/Kevin-Coe-9).
Finally, we recommend that you review information on the trail and that you come prepared for the hike (e.g., bring at least two liters of water, wear appropriate footwear, and a brimmed hat.) All attendees are solely responsible for their own health and safety.
By RSVPing for this event, you are agreeing that you are taking sole responsibility for your own health and safety and, if any, your guests' health and safety. If you or your guests are not willing or are unable to take responsibility for your own health and safety, do not RSVP for this event.
Please note this event is also posted on **[I love Austin, but I need some f*****g friends!](https://www.meetup.com/i-love-austin-but-i-need-some-f-g-friends/)**
Yoga Asana (exercises, postures, relaxation)
These classes are gentle and effective for everyone, regardless of age, physical condition, or experience. They include breathing, alignment, balance, strengthening, toning, stretching, relaxation, and meditation.
RSVP is required: through Meetup or by email, text, or phone (see below).
Bring: A mat; a thick towel, blanket, or rug; and water.
Clothing: Wear comfortable clothing that is easy to move in. Wear layers when it's cold so that you can adjust your clothing as you warm up and cool down. Please refrain from wearing perfume and other fragrances.
Cost: No charge. Donations are gratefully accepted! Click [here](http://yogameditationgroup.org/donations/) for ways to donate.
Location: Yoga Meditation Group, 13740 Research Blvd., Bldg T, Unit 3, Austin, 78750
Yoga Asana is the physical practice of yoga that includes exercises, breathing, and relaxation. The purpose of Yoga Asana isn't fitness. It is, in part, to take care of the body as our vehicle; and although this may include fitness, it should never be defined by it. Yoga Asana practice gives us the opportunity to become aware of the body and the life force within the body, helping us to experience that we are not the body but rather the eternal being within the body who needs fulfillment on a level that the body cannot satisfy. This experience can then lead us to the deeper yoga practices, which are centered around meditation (the heart of yoga) and spiritual inquiry about our eternal identity and purpose. All of our meditation classes are free and are listed here on Meetup. Let us know if you have any questions. Namaste.
NOTE: We do not require masks. We believe it is important to be able to breathe freely while practicing yoga asana and meditation. If you are not comfortable with this, we have links we can send you that may be helpful in practicing at home.

Fun & easy way to play more tennis (please read event description for details)
We’re still working to get more people into these Meetups, but our goal is to give PlayYourCourt members a few social tennis outings each week in addition to your practice sessions and Challenge League matches.
These Meetups are co-ed, super laid back, and all skill levels are welcome. Post your skill level and a suggested court in the comments section so we can round up as many players as we can for some tennis fun!
Also, if you’re looking to meet new practice partners or play some matches and you aren’t already in the PlayYourCourt Community, you can go here to see what we’re all about and sign up:
https://www.playyourcourt.com/tennis-community/cedar-park-tx/meetup/
If you love tennis, we’d love to have you! Be sure and watch the quick video that explains how everything works.
Happy hitting!

Mix and Match Lunch at Moonshine on Parmer
Way way back when, this group used to do events where we would get 10 people together at a restaurant, sit boy girl boy girl around the table, and just really get to know each other. I'm going to start that back up with a lunch time event at moonshine on Parmer.
in case y'all weren't tracking, I'm a guy, so this first one is going to have spots for four more men and five women.
as with all our events, please only RSVP if you are going to attend. I don't normally enforce it, but the attendance policy will apply for this, so don't cancel at the last minute,..etc..
If you haven't been to moonshine, it's southern food with a twist here and there. they have some pretty good cocktails and a solid whiskey selection, but also mocktails, wine, and other stuff. I'll see y'all there!
Fishing Excursion: Berry Creek Park & PreservePark and Preserve
Arrive between 7:30am to 8am to set up. We can begin walking to the access point through the BEAUTIFUL Pecan Grove at the park. This is an excellent bird watching park as well.
Please have at minimum freshwater fishing license. They can be purchased online. Please reach out to meet if you'd like to attend but need a fly rod.
We can meet here! https://what3words.com/witty.signatures.glam
If folks are hungry and available, we can have lunch as a group after we're finished.
🎤👩🏽🎤👨🏻🎤👩🏼🎤 [E Round Rock] karaoke @ Pflutto's Tavern--Hutto
At first glance, Pflutto's #2 (Hutto) looks like a typical suburban neighborhood watering hole: a few pool tables, several video slot machines, one long bar, with a tiny corner stage for live music, in an unassuming cold, hard strip-mall box. But show up on a Wednesday evening--on their karaoke nights--and you'll see that the vibe is laid-back but warm, the song choices are diverse, the crowd is supportive, and somehow the acoustics are good.
Come sing, dance, listen, and/or hum along!!

In-Person Event: The Answers to Depression & Anxiety
This is an in-person meeting. At this meeting you will get answers to depression and anxiety. Find out the source of them and how to get rid of them.
Did you know that unwanted emotions like anxiety, depression, unhappiness, loneliness, hopelessness, anger, fear, or feelings of irritation don’t just fall on you for no reason. They are not random occurrences that simply happen to people's minds. They are definitely not due to a chemical imbalance in your brain from some nebulous chemical reaction "by chance".
Your negative emotions are the symptoms of the painful experiences that you have which are not healed, and which are still affecting you.
The effects of these painful experiences are exacerbated by the pressures or difficulties of the other problems in your life.
Come to our Meetup, where we can introduce you to some of the knowledge, tools and techniques of the breakthroughs in the field of the mind that we can apply to this ever important area of life.
Be sure to click on the red "Attend" button below to come to this local event. We look forward to seeing you there.
This group is created by the Hubbard Dianetics Foundation of Central Ohio and Church of Scientology of Central Ohio.
