Techiniques are involved drawing pictures, patterns, and letters on the surface of lacquerware using lacquer, and then sprinkling and fixing metal powder, such as gold or silver, onto the surface. Step into a quiet tatami space and experience a refined moment of Japanese culture. Calligraphy, tea, and seasonal sweets. A small and intimate workshop where you can experience three elements of Japanese culture in one setting. ⸻ Calligraphy Japanese calligraphy (Shodō) is a traditional art where creativity and mindfulness come together.
