The first quadrant in astrology and spring signs: Aries, Taurus & Gemini
In this session we'll be discussing the first quadrant in astrology - the first, second and third houses, as well as the spring signs, Aries, Taurus and Gemini.
In astrology, the **First Quadrant** is all about **the development of the self**—your identity, instincts, and how you begin interacting with the world. It covers the first three houses of the birth chart and represents the earliest stage of personal growth.
This section of the chart is often called the **“personal quadrant”** because it focuses on **self-awareness and individual needs**, before we fully engage with others.
## The Bigger Meaning of the First Quadrant
Together, these houses describe a journey:
1. **Discover yourself** (1st House)
2. **Establish your worth and resources** (2nd House)
3. **Learn to interact and communicate** (3rd House)
It’s like the **early stage of life development**—from being born, to understanding your needs, to starting to speak and relate.
We will also be looking at the spring signs and the most significant upcoming transits such as the impressive Aries stellium in April, Uranus' ingress into Gemini (it will stay in the sign until 2033) and Chiron's ingress into Taurus in June.
**Guidelines**:
– Start: 18:30 sharp (arrive earlier if you like)
– Please stay on the topic of astrology
– Respect, warmth, and honesty are essential
– Kindly RSVP in advance, as we need to confirm with the venue
Warm regards,
Finja, Maca, Sara & Julian
*We collect a 5€ cash contribution on site to support the platform costs.*

Humboldthain Park Volley ☀️ 🏐 🌴
Join us for outdoor grass volleyball in **Humboldthain** park!
We play with two nets. The "chill court" is for mixed-level play with 3v3 up to 5v5. The "competitive court" is for higher-level 2v2 play with beach rules. This week, complete beginners are welcome on the chill court.
Be sure to wear suitable sports clothing and perhaps bring a drink.
**Location**: This week, we play in the big clearing of **Volkspark Humboldthain**. We are NOT playing in Hasenheide as usual. Updates will be posted in the WhatsApp group, which you can join via [https://tinyurl.com/ParkVolley](https://tinyurl.com/ParkVolley)
**Facilities**: There are no facilities such as changing rooms and showers in the park. A nearby public toilet is also available, but it might be closed, dirty, or not have toilet paper. There is also a toilet in the nearby Kaufland.
**RSVP**: Put yourself on the waitlist, even if other people are already on there. The waitlist is not chronological, so even if there are 30 people on there, you still have a chance! If you get a spot, you will be moved to the attending list and notified by Meetup. This is a free event with limited space. **If you can't make it, promptly update your RSVP to NO** so others can take your place. If you do not show up or cancel last minute, you will be marked as a no-show, reducing your chances of getting off the waitlist in the future.
**Payment:** This event is free, but you are invited to make a 2 EUR donation towards equipment.
**Attending**: Do not join if you have an infectious disease. You need to be on the attendee list to attend; **being on the waitlist is not sufficient**. Do not bring friends that are not on the attendee list. **Showing up without having a valid RSVP will get you banned**.
**Safety**: Mind the terrain. The grass might be uneven and contain items such as bottle caps. It is not suitable for diving or playing like on a beach. Be careful not to twist your ankle. Keep an eye on your belongings since we are in a public park. We do *not* have a full first aid kit available. Please inform the organizer of any medical conditions that might require attention during the event.
Some things you *might* want to bring:
\* Drink
\* Snacks
\* Insect spray
\* Sunscreen
\* Toilet paper, if you wish to use the public toilet

The exact meeting spot can be seen in the photo below!
We meet on the 1st floor where the trash sculpture can be seen. Look for a meetup sign or organizer wearing a black or red lanyard with "staff" written on it.
**2.) Walk & Talk to the Kerb food court**
The best part. In order to extend the walk we'll stroll all the way to Brandenburger gate and from there to the former Sony Center where we are going to enter the Kerb foodcourt.
**3\. How to find the Kerb food court**
[https://maps.app.goo.gl/xJTQg9oBoGL67syz7](https://maps.app.goo.gl/xJTQg9oBoGL67syz7)
Kerb is located at the former Sony Center. The new flagship food court of Potsdamer Platz. Most likely we will be sitting upstairs on the first floor next to the bar (take the stairs to the left).
***Best ways to get there:***
1\. U2 \(subway\):
Get off at Potsdamer Platz and walk around 7 min to Kerb.
2\. Bus M41 or M85
Get off at Potsdamer Platz and walk 5 min to Kerb.
*Who is this meetup for:*
1\. Asians who want to practice German and/or English\.
2\. German speaking individuals who are studying \(preferably\) Japanese\, Korean\, Mandarin or Cantonese\.
3\. Anyone who is interested in cultural exchange and wants to socialize\.
*What you can expect:*
1\. A professionally organized meetup that can adapt to any changes given the current situation\.
2\. A collaborating venue where you can further socialize with other members\.
*important: This event is held at the same time and meeting location like the "Networking & Language Exchange - 🍖international🍻" one. So I'm basically organizing 2 events at the same time which means that you can expect way more people than on the list.*
***
Whenever you attend a meetup, the most common as well as first question you get is: "Where are you from?"
You probably heard this question a million times. Well, at least I did.
From my own experience of attending over 200 international meetups in various countries such as Germany, Japan, Australia and Thailand, I can tell you that asking for the name is a better approach.
“A person’s name is to that person, the sweetest, most important sound in any language.” - Dale Carnegie
If you really want to connect with like-minded people you should remember their name, but you don't have to remember every persons name you've talked you. Be picky about that, don't be me who can somehow remember everyones name easily.
Don't tell yourself sth. like "I'm bad at remembering names." It's all about developing the habit of asking for a name and keep the conversation going on.
Furthermore, you want to learn German or any other language. Learning the local language is crucial to connect with the locals and developing a true friendship.
This can be accomplished with immersion. My goal is to inspire you to go out of your comfort zone and improve yourself each time you join this meetup.
