グループの特徴
Tucson Community Meditation Center (TCMC) is committed to providing a community that nurtures and supports the teaching and continuing practice of meditation and mindfulness in daily life. TCMC provides opportunities for anyone to learn and practice meditation from both local and visiting teachers. We also provide library resources, social events, as well as both residential and non-residential meditation retreats.
We are a non-sectarian organization and anyone with an interest in meditation is welcome. Our weekly classes and monthly retreats typically consist of a guided meditation followed by a talk on a meditation related topic. There is also an opportunity to ask questions.
We have been offering meditation related events in the Tucson community since the 1980's. We are relatively new to Meetup, so we don't always get a large number of RSVP's, however we also get attendees from our website and newsletter.
Most of our events are now meeting in person, but we still have some online events as well.
This group is suitable for both new and experienced meditators.

Back By Popular Demand!
The Monday evening Meditating in Community Class will be offering a 30 day meditation challenge. Should you decide to participate you will commit to meditating at least 20 minutes per day for 30 days starting on January 12 and ending on February 12. It is not too late to start the challenge on January 19, you can just extend till Feb. 19.
It is highly recommended that you attend the Monday evening class from 6:00-7:15 pm Jan. 12th - Feb. 12th. We will be providing support for your practice, and optionally the teacher will ask you about your practice over the past week to help provide accountability.
You may optionally sign up to be paired with an accountability partner with whom you can check in with regulary.
This will be a great way to take your meditation practice to a new level in 2026, and develop a regular habit of meditation. Several people established a regular meditation practice after participating last year.
