This is an intellectual exploration course in Shinjuku that explores two seemingly contrasting worlds: specialized fields that protect people's lives and safety, and leisure culture that deepens the relationship with nature, from the Edo period to the present day.

A facility to learn the history and technology of firefighting that has supported the safety of the city. Through a wide range of materials, including firefighting from the Edo period to the latest modern equipment, and actual exhibits of helicopters and old fire trucks, we will touch upon the history of disaster prevention that has progressed with the evolution of urban life.

A museum to learn the relationship between people and nature and the depth of culture through the leisure activity of fishing.
