Let’s go to the Adachi Fireworks – The Kickoff of Tokyo's Summer!
Kick off the fireworks season with the Adachi Fireworks! Held along the Arakawa River, this festival is famous for its incredible density, launching around 13,000 shells in just one hour.

Event Highlights:

High-Density Display: Experience a powerful non-stop show that fills the night sky.

The "Double Niagara": Enjoy the breathtaking sight of massive cascading sparks along the river.

Riverside Atmosphere: Join thousands of locals sitting on the grassy slopes, enjoying snacks and the summer breeze.

Experience the Vibe with Locals:
It’s one of Tokyo's most popular events, so it will be very crowded. However, the energy of the crowd and the reflection of the lights on the river make it an unforgettable experience. Let’s enjoy the "vibration" of the explosions and the local summer tradition together!

■ Access to the Meeting Point

By Toei Bus (Kusa 41): About a 5-minute walk from the "Aka-fudo" bus stop. This bus is very convenient as it passes through Tawaramachi, Asakusa, Iriya, Uguisudani, Mikawashima, and Machiya Stations.

By Train Only: About a 20-minute walk from Umejima Station or Gotanno Station.

■ What to Bring

Leisure Sheet (Mat): I will bring a large one for the group, but please bring your own small one just in case we can't all sit together. You can easily find them at 100-yen shops.

Food & Drinks: Please buy them before we meet or after we secure our spot. Keep in mind that moving around will take a lot of time due to the massive crowds.

Protection: Items for heat, cold, rain, or insects (bug spray).

Entertainment: Board games or anything fun to play while we wait!

3:00 PM: Meet up & Secure a spot

Waiting Time: Chatting, playing games, and relaxing

7:20 PM: Fireworks Start!

8:20 PM: Fireworks End

Note:

We expect to have our exact spot confirmed by 4:00 PM.

After the fireworks, we will disperse on-site. Please find your own best way home!

■ 観覧場所
いつもは北千住側でしたが、今回は西新井側にいきます！花火打上場所の正面から順に離れていき、確保できる場所で観覧します。この時間では一番いいエリアは難しいと思いますが比較的近い所は取れると思います。まとまって座れない場合はいくつかに分散して座ります。

■ 遅れてくる場合
移動中の合流は難しいので場所確保後に合流してください。ただし花火開始時間が近づくと、ネットが使えなかったり人込みで見つけられない可能性があることに注意してください。

■ 集合場所までのアクセス
都バス「草４１」利用の場合：
「赤不動」停留所から徒歩5分くらいです。
このバスは田原町駅、浅草駅、入谷駅、鶯谷駅、三河島駅、町屋駅を通るので便利いいと思います！

電車のみ利用の場合：
梅島駅または五反野駅から徒歩20分くらいです。

■ 持ち物
・下に敷くもの：大きなレジャーシートをこちらで準備しますが、まとまって座れないときのために持ってきておいてください。100円ショップにもたくさんあるのでそれでいいとおもいます。
・食べ物、飲み物：必要な場合は集合前に準備するか場所確保後に購入してください。ただし移動や混雑で相当時間はかかることを考慮しておいてください。
・暑さ、寒さ、雨、虫対策
・ボドゲなど遊べるもの（あれば）

Experience the historic Sumida River Fireworks Festival (formerly known as "Ryogoku Kawabiraki"). While the crowds are immense, the atmosphere is electric. Let’s enjoy the fireworks and the spirit of Tokyo together!

History & Origins:

Japan's Oldest: Records date back to 1733, making it the oldest recorded fireworks display in Japan.

A Prayer for Peace: It began during the Edo period (under Shogun Yoshimune) as a ritual to comfort the souls of those lost to famine and plague, and to pray for the end of the epidemic.

The Revival: After a long hiatus due to urban traffic issues, it was revived in 1978 under its current name, expanding to two launch sites to accommodate more viewers.

Important: Walking Style Viewing
Please note that there are almost no spots to sit in the free areas. We will be viewing the fireworks while walking. * The best views are while crossing the bridges.

Due to police crowd control, we will move in a "stop-and-go" fashion.

Between buildings, the fireworks may appear and disappear, so let's enjoy the conversation and the unique urban vibe!

Experience one of Tokyo’s top-rated fireworks events! This festival is famous for launching the Shaku-go-sun (15-inch shell), the largest firework ever fired in Tokyo, creating a massive, breathtaking bloom in the night sky.

Event Highlights:

Tokyo’s Largest Shell: Witness the 15-inch firework that fills the sky with overwhelming scale and sound.

The Niagara Falls: A spectacular 700-meter-long firework display that resembles a cascading waterfall of light.

Double the Fun: This event is held simultaneously with the Todabashi Fireworks across the river, creating a continuous sky-show from both sides.
