私たちについて
This adult group is for 20-somethings and 30-somethings who love the outdoors and want to experience it with other like-minded people. All skill levels are welcome. Hikes will mostly be around Portland and the surrounding area and will vary in difficulty and length. Looking to meet people? The goal of this group is to create an atmosphere where you'll be sure to have fun and make friends, all while staying in shape or getting in better shape and clearing your mind in the great outdoors.
Dogs are welcome on hikes, but note that a small number of trails will not allow them, and these will be clearly noted beforehand.
For out-of-town hikes with limited availability, please only sign up if you are sure you will attend.
For a little clarity on the group demographics, it caters to the 20-39 year crowd. We are unable to accommodate children under 18.

Tom Dick and Harry via Mirror Lake
Mirror Lake Trailhead, Mirror Lake Trailhead, Mount Hood Highway, Government Camp, OR, Portland, OR, USDistance: 8 miles
Elevation Gain: 1,700 feet
Difficulty: 6.5/10
AlltrailsOne of the more popular trails in Mt. Hood NF, we'll be getting an early start. This hike swings past Mirror Lake and climbs to an open ridge providing incredible views of Hood and the surrounding forests.
Plan to arrive at the trailhead in time for a prompt 8:30 am departure. Expect a steady pace without too many breaks. This is a moderately challenging hike with significant elevation gain and not recommended for those who are brand new to hiking. We plan to arrive back at the trailhead around 1pm, depending on the groups pace. There will likely be an optional stop for lunch on the way back to Portland.
Bring: sturdy hiking shoes or boots, plenty of water, snacks, sun protection, and an extra layer in case it's chilly up top.
Well-behaved dogs are always very welcome! Please don't bring any dogs that are aggressive towards people or other dogs.
Carpooling is encouraged and can be coordinated in the comments. Each vehicle at the trailhead will need either to display a valid NW Forest Pass or pay the $5 day-use fee.
My goal is to ensure that all attendees have a safe and enjoyable experience, but please be aware that I am a volunteer host and not a professional guide. By attending this hike, you acknowledge that you are accepting sole responsibility for your own safety and well-being. Please come prepared, know your own limits, and hike at your own risk.
