Seattle Web App Dev Group is here to support developers building web applications using programming languages, libraries, frameworks, and toolsets. We're here to support the web programmers of the Seattle metro area, whatever language or platform you are using. If you are interested in the client side, the server side, desktop, mobile, you name it, as long as it involves programming the web, we got you covered.
Please help keep the group running by contributing $10 or $20 or more. The money will go to paying the $221 annual meetup fees that come out of my pocket. Corporate contributions are welcomed too, of course!

It is a systematic breakdown that the World Health Organization now recognizes as an occupational phenomenon, affecting over half of US workers.
The cost is real, including health problems, strained relationships, declining productivity, and a cascade of errors that impact both your career and personal life. The challenging part of burnout is that it comes in slowly, often running in the background until it crashes your entire system.
This webinar is about learning how to identify the early warning signs, debug the root causes, and discover your very own strategies to prevent it and protect your long-term wellbeing at and outside work. Whether you are an employee, a manager, a leader, caregiver, or anyone juggling demanding responsibilities, this session will give you the tools to recognize, address, and prevent burnout before you hit the breaking point. - Essentials: Datatypes, How do I and data types oh my! If it is in the docs, or should be an isn't... this is where you elaborate on all the glory that is Postgres Essentials. Do not overlook this track it is job security.
- Life and Fun: Nothing about Postgres goes here. Do you want to talk about your beehive, backyard garden, homestead, solar, latest IoT project, mountain biking or camping? This is the place.
- Professional Development & Wellness: Career enhancement, dealing with burnout and the false ideal of a work life balance. This is where you find peers to help with all kinds of life problems and opportunities.
