In this adventure players will be taking up the mantle of prisoners of Mt. Gram, a dark stronghold full of orcs, goblins and servants of the Enemy lead by an evil Orc Chieftan called Radgul. Players start with nothing, are exhausted, miserable and twisted by various shadow conditions after years of capture. After all hope is lost an elf named Arblaud had his cage left open after the goal master returned to the dungeons drunk. Arblaud took the opportunity to kill the orc and take his dagger. Can Arblaud lead a company of fellow prisoners to their escape? Can they find what they need to defend themselves? Or will they all die falling victim to the thousands of orcs that lurk the halls, or maybe fall to a most sinister Evil in the Shadows…
This is an original one shot based on the Mt. Gram landmark from the Ruins of Eriador. This adventure is designed to explore and learn about the fascinating mechanics of Lord of the Rings Roleplaying, such as shadow points, madness, eye awareness and Fellowship points. Each hero will get to explore dark instincts based on their shadow path. Can a group manage to work together while one player suffers from paranoia, one from the greed of Dragon sickness and another who is deep in the depths of despair?
