This group is not a club in and of itself. It is here to support the various West Coast Swing activities here in Charlotte, NC, mostly being presented by the Charlotte Westies.
If you enjoy West Coast Swing and live in the Charlotte area (or want to keep up with what's happening here) then this is the group for you!
What is West Coast Swing? It's a swing dance that's done in a slot, in which the man invites the woman to go from one end of the slot to the other, usually doing something very cool in between.

Charlotte West Coast Swing Classes & Social Dance
Levine Senior Center, 1050 Devore Ln, Matthews, NC, USLEARN HOW TO DANCE WEST COAST SWING. MAKE NEW FRIENDS. HAVE FUN! No prior dance experience or partner is necessary!
Join us Tuesday, May 26th when West Coast Swing Champions Jason & Annmarie Marker will teach the Variations lesson while WCS All-Star Chris Wrigley will teach the Essentials lesson. Separate dedicated beginner lesson for new dancers! Always a friendly and welcoming group of people. 8:00–9:00 Intro/Beginner Lesson (no prior experience)
8:00–9:00 Essentials Lesson (the foundation for success)
8:00–9:00 Variation Lesson (beyond essentials, for experienced dancers)
9:00–10:45 Social Dancing (all levels)COST: $15 includes lessons and social dance / Cash Only Please! (Flat, smooth-soled shoes recommended.)
