Hello CIK members!

On December 6th we will be going on a trek to the Seoul City Wall. The wall stretches for ***18.6km*** along the ranges of Namsan, Inwangsan, Bugaksan, and Naksan and the entire trek may take ***8 hours***.

It will be mostly walking, so beginners are welcome to join us!

“The Seoul City Wall was originally built in 1396, surrounding Seoul (then known as Hanyang) during the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1897). The wall stands at average heights of 7 - 8 m high. Along the Seoul City Wall, there once stood eight gates that were originally built between 1396-1398, but only six remain standing. The North, South, East, and West gates of the wall are known as the “Four Great Gates” (Sukjeongmun, Heunginjimun, Sungnyemun, Dongeuimun), while the Northwest, Northeast, Southwest, and Southwest gates are known as the “Four Minor Gates” (Changuimun, Hyehwamun, Gwanghuimun, Soeuimun).” -Source: visitSeoul-

**Meeting Place: Seodaemun Stn on line 5, exit 4 outside**

**Date and Time: Decembet 6th, Saturday at 9:45am**

**What to bring** : Appropriate footwear for hiking, Extra clothing, Packed lunch to eat while hiking, Snacks, Plenty of water and etc.

1. Our activities and time might change according to weather, and etc. Please be flexible; we are all here to have a good time
