White -Water Rafting and Walking on the Famous Jandogil & Milky Way Bridge!

Hello CIK Members!

Come out with CIK for a special double feature of Rafting and Walking. On Sunday July 10th prepare to get wet as we combine the fun of walking on the Hantangang Jandogil & Milky Way Bridge and White-Water Rafting in Cheorwon(Hantang river).

We are planning a very short and fun Jandogil & Milky Way bridge walk to Hantangang, Cheorwon, Gangwondo. We will cross an amazing Milky Way & Jandogil Bridge, walking approximately 1.5 hours (3.6km) along the river, passing by amazing scenery.

After walking the bridge, we'll get back on the bus and go for rafting in the afternoon. This will be a lot of fun and is also a great chance to see the beautiful scenery along the Hantangang River. Get ready to hit the rapids! Life jackets and helmets will be provided and must be worn at all times on the river. Please dress appropriately- nylon clothes (not cotton) and water shoes or sneakers, not flip flops, which could easily fall off. Our group will be split into teams that will be assigned by an instructor. The instructor will provide a brief overview of paddling and safety. In total, rafting will last about 2 to 2.5hours. You may get wet, so bring a towel and a change of clothes.

This will be a fun and easy trip. Beginners are welcome. Don’t miss this excellent opportunity to spend a fantastic day with friends both old and new with CIK!

A few notes:

-Rafting and all outdoor activities are weather dependent. If it's not safe, we will postpone to another day. Your safety is very important to us. If we cannot do rafting due to water conditions, we will do other activities nearby.

-Important: CIK highly recommends taking our travel/accident insurance if you haven't already done so.

-Since CIK will not be held responsible for any injuries that may occur on any rafting and all outdoor activities, we highly recommend that you have your own personal form of medical insurance prior to attending all outings.

-Our schedule(place) and time might change according to weather, traffic, and etc. Please be flexible; we are all here to have a good time.

Fees - 18,000won for the round-trip transportation: 40 spots on the trip are first come, first served based on whoever pays first. **Please bring extra cash because the rafting fee is 28,000won and walking on the Jandogil entrance fee is 10,000won- You can pay them in person at the spot.**
