This is a group for anyone interested in hiking, camping, stand up paddle boarding, and other adventures with your dog(s). Whether you have a dog or not, you're welcome to join this group. We'll indicate the difficulty level for each outing since some may range depending on mileage and elevation for the hike. Day hikes range from 1 to 20 miles, some are planned and some may be short notice.

We practice leave no trace principles (https://lnt.org) and carry the ten essentials (https://www.nps.gov/articles/10essentials.h...). You're responsible for yourself, your dog(s), gear, clothing, health, fitness, food, water, and your own safety.

PHOTO, please have a recognizable photo of your face on your profile. You are subject to removal from this group without a recognizable photo.

RSVP for events and if you're unable to attend an event for which you said "You're Going," please change it to "No - Not Attending," as soon as possible so the group doesn't wait for you. Also, if you have a history of signing up for our meetups but repeatedly do not show up or repeatedly cancel at the last minute when there is a waiting list, you are subject to removal from this group.

COURTESY, everyone is expected to exhibit courtesy and respect during our events. Do not expect others to supply equipment, food, necessities, or other items without prior arrangements. Expect to fairly compensate drivers in car pools.

Now the FUN stuff! A lot of the hikes we'll do will count towards one of the many challenges we have in SoCal (i.e. Coast to Crest Trail Challenge, 52 Hike Challenge, 5-Peak Mission Trails Challenge, Six-Pack of Peaks Challenge). But we'd like to add more activities than hiking so we'll have other adventures too!
