우리에 대해
Welcome to the Konenki Menopause Support Group!
In Japanese culture, "Konenki" signifies "renewal years" and "energy," reflecting a positive and empowering perspective on menopause as a time of personal growth and transformation.
Our group is dedicated to embracing this philosophy by providing a supportive community for women navigating the peri-menopausal and menopausal journey. We offer both online and in-person events, ensuring accessibility and convenience for all members. All events are free or low-cost, with any fees solely covering food or facility expenses.
We are proud to collaborate with the region's most highly-vetted menopause providers, who will share their expertise and offer educational sessions at our events.
Join us to connect with like-minded women, gain valuable insights, and celebrate this transformative phase of life together.
We look forward to welcoming you to our community!

Childless or Childfree in Midlife
·온라인온라인Childless or Childfree in Midlife: Menopause, Identity, and Meaning
Perimenopause and menopause shift more than hormones. They can also shift identity, relationships, and long-held assumptions about womanhood.
What is often missing from midlife conversations is this: not all women have children.
For midlife women without children, whether childless by circumstance or childfree by choice, this transition can bring emotional questions that are rarely acknowledged openly.
When fertility ends, some women experience unexpected grief. Others feel clarity or relief. Many feel a complicated mix of both. Hormonal changes can intensify reflection and emotional processing, making midlife feel both biological and deeply personal.
Women without children are sometimes perceived, and may internalize, the idea that they are not fully “real” adults. This cultural narrative can quietly shape identity, belonging, and self-worth in midlife.
This panel explores the intersection of hormonal changes, identity, and cultural narrative for women navigating menopause without children. We will examine what is biology, what is inherited story, and how midlife without motherhood can become a distinct and meaningful path forward.
Rather than framing childlessness as a deficit, this conversation recognizes midlife without children as a valid and complex life experience worthy of clarity, compassion, and expert insight.
