We're an entirely social group βΊοΈ and have mostly free events. We don't believe in having things like βsingles eventsβ as we think it is too βtransactionalβ. We're built to foster community with the aim of making our society more open instead of so separate, and focus on social events that include everyone. Furthermore, we've built an app in order to do so! It's called Bunch π. With Bunch π you create low-key hangouts for a small group (up to 6 people) at a time and invite others based on age gender and interests. Ex: create a dinner at your favorite restaurant and invite people based on age, gender, and interests. So, you don't have to wait for us to create events here on meetup! You can also connect directly with people you meet at our events with a quick app QR code and invite only them to a bunch πβΊοΈ. Check it out, it's all FREE.

The Lower East Side is such a cool, lively neighborhood that we started wondering: what would happen if we got a regular board game afternoon going here? π²βοΈ
Would it spice up life in the LES a little?
Would more people come out of their apartments on a Sunday?
Would strangers become friends over Codenames, Uno, Monopoly, or a game nobody quite remembers the rules to? π
Could this become the thing you do on Sundays?Thereβs only one way to find out. π

Come alone! In fact, most people at Bunch events do. Weβll get everyone playing together, so you don't need to know anyone before you arrive.

We want to see if we can build something regular in the Lower East Side, not by putting on giant events, but simply by giving people an easy reason to come out and spend time together.
