We are an active group of photographers with varying levels of experience, complete novice to advanced. We encourage all mediums of photography: film, digital, pinhole, point-and-shoot, smartphone cameras. We also encourage all artistic points of view, all expression. Though varied in our enthusiasms, we are united by our love of the medium.
At our regular, informal meetings we explore many aspects of photography, showing and discussing our work, learning and gaining insight from others' perspectives. As a club, we have fun improving our skills through group shoots and through the sharing of ideas and resources.
For the past few years, we have met at 7:00 PM on the third Wednesday of the month at UNOODLES Snack Bar, 14 Main Street, Haverstraw, for a bite of dinner and a projected slide show. We now meet at 7:00 PM on the third Wednesday with a ninety-minute Zoom Meeting, complete with full screen slide show. The Piermont Photography Group asks a $25.00 annual fee of its members, payable in January. This is to cover equipment needs, website and Zoom costs, etc. Join us as a new member and enjoy three months with our Group at no cost. (Your three-month free trial will begin when you join our website.) If you like who we are and what we do, pay the $25.00 membership fee to continue. If you join us after July 1st, pay $15.00 for the balance of that year.
