Sisar Canyon Creek is one of the most pristine and captivating environments Iโve explored in the Topatopa Mountains. After a recent backpacking trip to Sisar Peak and Topa Topa Bluff, a teammate and I ventured into the creek from White Ledge Camp and stumbled into a hidden world that felt remarkably untouched.
Less than 1,000 feet from the camp, we came upon a crystal-clear 80-foot waterfallโa cascade spilling into a cool emerald pond, framed by sculpted canyon walls and dappled light. The cascade, swim hole and surrounding terrain felt raw and unfiltered, as if preserved outside of time.

That was not a mundane trail hikeโit was a wild scramble adventure, with route-finding, all creek traverse, and moments that reward curiosity and a bit of adventurous boldness. ๐๏ธ๐ฟ๐๐ธ
Something about this canyon stays with me. An unknown captivating force is pulling me back to discover more.
To join, you must have effective safety acumen and adequate rock hopping and climbing skills. Penalty for mistakes and negligence are serious injuries.
