The Chuseok holiday is about to begin! Let’s celebrate with a refreshing walk followed by an optional night out in Hongdae.

We’ll meet at Gongdeok Station and walk together through Gyeongui Line Forest Park, a lively urban green space filled with youthful energy. It’s the perfect warm-up for a Friday night in Hongdae!

Our official event will end when we arrive at Hongdae Station. If you feel like the holiday is only just beginning, you’re welcome to continue exploring Hongdae with the new friends you’ve met along the way.

- 19:00 — Meet at Gongdeok Station, Exit 1 | 공덕역 1번 출구 (Naver map: https://naver.me/FPBaP276)
- 19:10 — Begin our walk through Gyeongui Line Forest Park
- 20:30 — Arrive at Hongdae Station, Exit 3 | 홍대입구역 3번 출구
- Afterward — Enjoy a night out in Hongdae (optional)

► About Gyeongui Line Forest Park
Gyeongui Line Forest Park is a long urban green space that includes Yeontral Park and Gyeongui Line Book Street. It offers a relaxing escape in the heart of the city.

Yeontral Park is especially popular with young people enjoying drinks and picnics, as well as local residents taking a stroll throughout the day.

This event is free.

If you join the optional night out, you will pay for your own food and drinks directly at the bars or restaurants by cash or card. Expenses will be split individually (Dutch pay).

📝 Notes
The official event ends when we arrive at Hongdae Station. Afterward, feel free to explore the area with the people you’ve met and chatted with during the walk!

SeoulShare Sunset Ride & Picnic – Han River Cycling from Yeouido to Banpo 🚲🌅🧺

Want to enjoy a relaxing bike ride along the Han River during golden hour and watch the sunset by the water?

Join us this Sunday for a scenic ride from Yeouido to Banpo Hangang Park. We’ll follow the riverside bicycle path, enjoy views of Seoul and the Han River, take a short break around Sebitseom, and then cycle back to Yeouido as the sun begins to set.

Sunset is expected at around 18:24, so if the weather is kind to us, we’ll finish our ride with beautiful sunset views over the Han River.

After returning our bicycles, we’ll have a short and casual sunset picnic at Yeouido Hangang Park. Bring your favorite snacks and drinks, meet new people, and enjoy the early autumn evening by the river! Participation in the picnic is optional.

You may bring your own bicycle or rent one at the bicycle rental shop near our meeting point.

• 16:00 Meet at Yeouinaru Station, Exit 2 | 여의나루역 2번 출구
⏰ Please be on time! The organizer won’t be reachable once the event starts, so you may not be able to join us if you arrive late.
• 16:10 Walk to the Yeouinaru bicycle rental shop and rent and adjust our bicycles
• 16:20 Start cycling along the Han River
• 17:15 Short break around Banpo Hangang Park and Sebitseom
• 17:30 Cycle back to Yeouido during golden hour
• 18:15 Arrive in Yeouido and return the bicycles
• 18:20 Enjoy the sunset and a casual picnic at Yeouido Hangang Park (optional)

• Course: Yeouinaru Station → Yeouido Hangang Park → Dongjak Bridge → Banpo Hangang Park & Sebitseom → Yeouido Hangang Park
• Distance: Approximately 15–18 km
• Cycling time: About 2 hours
• Difficulty: Easy to moderate
• Sunset: Around 18:24
• Ending time: Before 19:00

This event is free.
Participants are responsible for their own bicycle rental fee and picnic food and drinks. You can also bring your own bicycle.

SeoulShare Language Share, FREE Class, is for the ones who like to learn Korean and English from the absolute beginner level to more intermediate level.

We learn, we talk, we share our language, and help each other,
divided into groups of your level.
We have volunteer teachers who will help us.
