Exit at 141 off highway 44 and take the North outer rd which goes directly to Lone Elk Park entrance.

Run the 3 mile white bison trail, then 2 mile turtle bob trail. 9-14 min per mile pace. Please remember, dogs are not allowed on the bison trail because of the elk population. Dogs are not allowed on the world bird sanctuary grounds also which we will be able to run thru on the turtle Bob trail.

Meet in Lone Elk parking lot on right just past the park entrance. Note: do not drive into the gated park on left or it’s several miles one way before you can return.

4 or 5.5 mile loop trail. Meet in gravel parking lot on right near tennis courts on Streetcar drive which is off Dorsett ave. Turn right on Streetcar just before you reach Marine ave. The parking lot is about 1/2 mile in on Streetcar Dr.

Paved and gravel mix for winter route from November to March.

Pace 9-13 min per mile. 4- 5 miles usually.
In cold, dark or bad weather we will meet just inside the visitors center.
Otherwise meet in parking lot by benches across from visitors center.
