Are you in your 20s/30s and wondering how to make friends as an adult? Did you just move to Richmond, VA (RVA) and need new friends or things to do? Have you lived in RVA for a while but still would like to diversify your circle of friends? Are you single, engaged, married, or divorced and looking to meet other like-minded friends? Do you like food, beer, wine, cooking classes, games, outdoor activities, music, or anything fun and would rather go with friends?
If you answered yes to any of those questions, this group is for you! Trying to Adult RVA is a membership-based social group. It is open to anyone 21+, of any gender, that want to make friends.

Movie Club
Bar West, 5811 Grove Ave, Richmond, VA, USWe welcome you to join us for our monthly Movie Club get-togethers. We will select one film each month and ask that you watch the movie beforehand so we can dive into thoughtful discussion together. Be prepared for spoilers!
Our movie this month is “The Master” directed by Paul Thomas Anderson.

We’ll gather to talk about the film’s themes, visuals, and big ideas, and choose next month’s movie at the end of our meeting—so come prepared with your own film suggestions!
🎬 “The Master” is available to stream on Amazon Prime, or rent on major platforms (including Fandango and YouTube). You don’t need to bring anything but your thoughts, questions, and excitement.

Trivia Night at Buskey Cider

Whether you’re a trivia pro or just here for the vibes, this is all about hanging out, meeting new people, and having a great time together. We’ll form teams at the start so you can come solo or with friends, and our host will guide us through a mix of questions across different categories.
Grab a cider (or two), settle in, and get ready for some friendly competition, laughs, and maybe even a win.What to expect:
