Moved to Richmond and don't know anyone yet? Been here for years but your circle has gotten smaller? Wondering how people even make friends as an adult?

You're in the right place. Trying to Adult RVA is a community of Richmonders who are all figuring out the same thing: how to build real friendships as grown-ups.

Our signature experience: New Friend Socials

Every other Saturday we host New Friend Socials at some of Richmond's best local venues. They're designed to take the awkwardness out of meeting new people, with name tag lanyards, conversation starters, collectible pins, and fun activities that get everyone talking beyond small talk. Every attendee leaves with a Next Hang Kit, packed with offers from local businesses so you and your new friends have a plan to hang out again.

Come solo (most people do!), bring a friend, or just start by saying hi in the group. Everyone here is looking for the same thing.
Open to anyone 21+ who wants to make friends in Richmond.
