Green Mountain via West Ridge Trail - 4 miles and 750 feet EG

This beautiful out-and-back trail ascends Green Mountain from Flagstaff Road. Once at the summit you get rewarded with panoramic views and a summit marker featuring a peak finder to the surrounding mountain ranges. The hike is considered moderate; the last half mile up to the peak is steep and rocky.

We are meeting at the Green Mountain West Ridge trailhead about 4.5 miles up on Flagstaff Road. Parking is along the road and free. Please consider car pooling (maybe from Chautauqua) if possible.

As always bring layers, sun protection, water and a snack.
