​Join us for a scenic eco-hike and an authentic Korean cultural experience in collaboration with the Bukhansan National Park Dobong Office! We will hike through the restricted Uiryong Eco-Forest and visit Songchu Village to brew traditional rice wine (Makgeolli) with the locals.

Details:

Where to Meet : In front of A Twosome Place(1~2 minute walk from Bukhansan-Ui station, exit 2)

Date and Time : June 12th, Friday at 10:30am

What to bring : plenty of water, a few snacks, and clothing appropriate to such weather, appropriate footwear for hiking

Distance & Difficulty
Basic Course: 6.8km/Easy(Flat, unpaved trail)
With Seokguram Temple(Optional): 8.5km/Moderate(Includes a 1.5km steep uphill round-trip to a historic temple/You can choose to hike up to the temple or relax at the scenic viewpoint).
Route: Uidong - Uiryong Pass- Gyohyeonri- Move to Songchu Villagr by vehicle.

Key Programs
Eco- Forest Hike: Walk through a beautiful preserved trail with stunning views of the Obong Peaks.
Local Village Experience(2hours): Move to Songchu Village after the hike to brew traditional Korean rice wine(Makgeolli ) from scratch with the villagers. Best of all, you can take your own handmade Makgeolli home with you!

  • Our activities and time might change according to weather, and etc. Please be flexible; we are all here to have a good time
