Dear LSR member,

Some great things in the goody bag this week:

Cloudbees who supported our last hackathon are offering the new “PaaS for Dummies” book for free to all our members.  Request your copy here.

Next Wednesday 18 April, you’re all invited to join us at 93 Feet East for drinks to find out more about the new accelerator program launching in London which will give you up to €50,000 and 6 months on the Wayra Academy scheme.

On Tuesday 24 April Jeffreys Henry LLP have a free drop-in tax and accounting advice clinic which you can sign up to here.

And 2 more events to look forward to this month:

Big Business meets Startup on 26 April where you can pitch to IT decision makers at enterprises including Samsung, KPMG, Dow Jones, Bank of America, and WaverleyTBS.  Already up in front of the audience we have MongoBD and Badgeville; there are still two spaces for startups to present if you have a solution that’s ready to implement in Mobile Apps, Crowdsourcing, Cloud Solutions or Social Media.

TechStartupWorld Expo on 26 April is taking place in 6 cities where TechMeetups is active: London, New York, Dallas, Miami, Bangalore and Bangkok.  The idea is to generate huge publicity for your startup using our global network and we’ve still got a couple of presenter slots; although you’ll have to be quick to get them.

Get in touch with anton[at]techmeetups[dot]com if you’d like to get involved in either event.

Have a nice weekend,

Olga olga[at]techmeetups[dot]com
