What we're about

Startup Grind is a global startup community designed to educate, inspire, and connect entrepreneurs. It is powered by Google for Entrepreneurs.

We host monthly events in more than 60 cities and 20 countries featuring successful local founders, innovators, educators and investors who share personal stories and lessons learned on the road to building great companies.

Our monthly fireside chat interviews, startup mixers and annual conferences provide ample opportunities to connect with amazing startups and the people behind them, tap into a strong support network, form meaningful connections and gain inspiration for the startup journey ahead.

We aim to build a connected network of vibrant startup communities to help fuel innovation, economic growth and prosperity at the local level.

We believe in making friends, not contacts. We believe in giving, not taking. We believe in helping others before helping yourself. We are truly passionate about helping founders, entrepreneurs and startups succeed. We intend to make their startup journey less lonely, more connected and more memorable.

Join our next event and get fired up!

Successful Founders Series: Founders of Perkbox: Chieu Cao (CMO) & Saurav Chopra

London Business School - Samy Ofer Center

THIS IS A PAID EVENT - PURCHASE YOUR TICKET IN THE LINK BELOW https://www.startupgrind.com/events/details/startup-grind-london-presents-successful-founders-series-founders-of-perkbox-chieu-cao-cmo-saurav-chopra-ceo/ Perkbox didn’t appear out of thin air. If they seem madly passionate about creating happier places to work, it’s because they’ve been on the other side too. From their founders to their newest recruits, more times than not, Perkboxers migrated from companies that didn’t quite grasp the importance of a positive employee experience. The average person spends a third of their time at work. That’s a lot of hours, minutes, and seconds. But despite what many people say, our lives aren’t divided into two sections. Life doesn’t start only when work stops – nor vice versa. Therefore employers are responsible for empowering their people to lead meaningful and fulfilling lives outside of work as well as inside. This means recognising that workforces are made up of people, personalising each employee experience and promoting wellness are crucial steps for modern businesses. We invited both founders of Perkbox, Chieu Cao (CMO) and Saurav Chopra (CEO) to sit down with our audience, tell us about their entrepreneurial journey and share with us insights about how to keep employees happy. Perkbox is UK’s fastest growing employee benefits platform and Scale-up Business of the Year 2017, so they should know all about it. Join us, learn from their insights and apply them at your company.
