ie, the artists, the inventors, and the programmers etc
who REALLY gave us all our wonderful technology and art....

in law, there are principles of EQUITY as follows:

1. equity is no part of the law, but is a mopral virtue, and a sense of natural justice, which reforms and moderates the law where it is defective or weak in the constitution.

2. if there is a conflict between equity and ordinary law, the rules of equity prevail.

3. equity defends and protects the “common law” (or “tort law” as mentioned above: re the law of theft, or “conversion”) from crafty evasions and delusions invented and contrived to corrupt the common law.

4. he who comes into equity must have CLEAN HANDS!

5. he who expects an equitable remedy must be able to show that he has behaved with equity.
