Description:
Living in a big city like Amsterdam can feel paradoxical: surrounded by people, yet deeply alone.
Many individuals quietly struggle with loneliness, lack of meaningful connection, or difficulty forming close relationships—even when life appears full on the outside.
This meetup offers a safe, reflective space to explore loneliness without shame or judgment. We will look at why loneliness happens, how it affects our mental health, and what actually helps us build deeper, more meaningful connections.
This is not therapy and not a lecture.
It is a space for shared reflection, psychological insight, and human connection.
What We’ll Explore:
✅ Why loneliness is so common in modern city life
✅ The difference between being alone vs feeling lonely
✅ Practical ways to build authentic connection (small, realistic steps)

⏳ Arrive on Time! ⏳
Please arrive at least 10 minutes early so we can start on time and make the most of our shared space.
Why In-Person?
Conversations about loneliness, belonging, and human connection benefit from shared presence and authentic dialogue. Being together in the same space allows for reflection, emotional resonance, and the realization that many people silently experience the same sense of disconnection—even when surrounded by others.
