Burnout prevention and recovery begin not in the mind, but in the body - by learning to recognize its signals, restore safety, and reconnect with what truly sustains us.

On July 15th, Tuesday at 10.30 am, we'll meet in de Boomsspijker for a science-backed workshop guided by Alicia, Somatic Empowerment Coach to help us learn how to listen to that signal, calm the storm inside our body, and leave with clear, somatic tools we can use the next time overwhelm creeps in.

What to expect:

  • Understanding your nervous system and the impact of burnout
  • How to support your body’s healing process
  • Being guided through somatic regulation exercises, you can also do at home
  • Warmth, community, and zero judgment🩷

This workshop is for you if:

  • You’re running on empty, dealing with stress, or recovering from burnout
  • You want to better understand how to support your body’s recovery
  • You want practical, body-based tools you can use at your desk, on the tram, or in bed
  • You prefer learning in a small, supportive group

You’ll leave with:

  • A body-felt sense of safety you can recreate in under five minutes
  • A clearer map of your personal burnout triggers and your exits
  • Connection to others on the same path

What to bring:

  • Comfortable clothes that you can stretch in
  • A notebook and pen for notes and reflection
  • An open mind - foggy brains and tired hearts are totally welcome

About the facilitator
Alicia Ingruber is a Somatic Empowerment Coach and Yoga Teacher based in Amsterdam, known for her compassionate, body-led approach to healing and growth. After experiencing a life-altering burnout herself, Alicia discovered the power of nervous system regulation, embodiment, and boundary work as a path to recovery. Now, through her brand Alicia Inspired, she supports other sensitive, ambitious individuals in reconnecting with their bodies, cultivating grounded confidence, and building sustainable success without the overwhelm. Her workshops are a blend of somatic practice, emotional wisdom, and gentle empowerment, offering a safe space for participants to slow down, reset, and come home to themselves.

This event is offered pro bono and is free to join, with a small shared contribution (no more than 10 EUR, depending on the number of participants) to cover the venue rental. Payment will be arranged via Tikkie or cash after the session.

  • If you RSVP, please attend! Late cancellations (within 24 hours) or no-shows mean others miss out. After 2 late cancellations or no-shows without notice, participation may be restricted 💔
  • Please only join if your status is "Going" (don't show up randomly or from the waitlist) 🙏

  • For casual events like a walk: stay as long or as little as you like, just let us know. For workshops: please stay for the entire session 🌿
