Burnout prevention and recovery are more than just rest. Reading restores focus, calms the mind, and sparks curiosity. Sharing this quiet time in good company becomes a mindful reset - true self-care for both soul and mind.
On Saturday, February 21st, at 1.55 pm, we’ll gather at OBA Oosterdok, where Eduardo, our community member and a massive book enthusiast, will welcome us for an afternoon dedicated to reading.
We’ll meet just inside the entrance, get introduced, then choose a cozy spot together, and get lost in our books while enjoying each other’s quiet presence. To close, we’ll share reflections, insights, and new recommendations.
No preparation needed - just bring something you’d love to read, in any format. We only ask that you embrace and enjoy the event's silence. 💛
📝 Community guidelines
- If you RSVP, please attend. 💛
- If you need to cancel within 24 hours before the event, reach out to me directly. After two late cancellations or no-shows without notice, or if you don’t show up to your first event, you’ll be removed from the community. 💔
- Arrive on time (a few minutes early is ideal). ⏰
- For casual events: stay as long or as little as you like, just let us know. For workshops: stay for the entire session. 🌿
- Be fully present and keep your phones tucked away. 📵
- You don’t need to be on burnout leave to join, but this is a community centered around burnout prevention and recovery. 🌸
- Be kind and respectful; any harmful or unsafe behavior will lead to being asked to leave and removed from the community. 🚫
