AWS Skillbuilder talk by EiEi Tun
You want to learn to work with AWS, or you want to dive in specific services that AWS providers. Where do you start? At the AWS SkillBuilder platform. With a lots of content to certify, learn or discover. EiEi will showcase how the different courses (free and paid) can be a real benefit when learning (more) about AWS.
Aurora DSQL, unraveling the pricing
AWS has released Aurora DSQL into general availability with a pricing based on Distributed Processing Unit (DPU) but there's no clear description on what a DPU is. This makes it more difficult than most other services to estimate how much it actually costs. With some benchmarks I attempt to unravel this mystery to see how DPUs actually translate to typical writes and reads and then also share some numbers about how much actual real world applications costs on Aurora DSQL. I will compare it with RDS and Aurora Serverless V2 from cost and performance point of view.
