Over ons
This group wants to bring together all bicycle touring lovers in Amsterdam! From first-timers to seasoned tourers, everybody is welcome to meet other enthusiast tourers and share knowledge. This meetup is just starting out but there are many ideas, such as the setup of a lab where to share tips and knowledge focused on long-distance touring, or help each other with bike repairs.

Cycling Through the Tulip Region
Station Leiden Centraal, Stationsplein 3, 2312AJ Leiden, NLLet's enjoy the famous Dutch tulip fields with a bike ride through the region! We will start from Leiden and cycle through Warmond , passing through the Voorhout and Noordwikerhout region. We will cycle at a leisurely pace. There is a nice cafe and outdoor picnic area near the Oosterduinse Meer to take an early lunch or a break. We can also stop to look at tulip fields along the way. We can make a slightly shorter option for those who wish to return from Sasssenheim station. I will try to keep the ride at just around 50 km.
Please note: this area can get quite crowded during tulip season, so we will most likely be sharing the paths with other sightseers. I also ask that participants respect the tulip field etiquette:
- You don’t enter a flower field, stand at least 3 meters next to the field. Make your photos from the road next to the field
- Respect fences, ropes, signs etc. And when there are no fences, it is still not allowed to enter the field.
- You can be fined by the police as you enter private property without permission.
We will aim to finish by 17:30 at the latest.
