Wat we doen

The bodhi community brings together anyone who wants to explore how to bring a clear mind and an open heart into all aspects of their life and work.

Ideal community members would have an interest in personal development and exploring how to live well in today’s busy world. In particular they would be interested in the benefits of meditation and mindfulness. They might meditate already or wish to learn, although this is not a requirement to join the group. They would also be keen to discuss how we can cultivate and spread more well-being, empathy, kindness and compassion—in our personal lives, our work and in the wider world.

Why join? To meet passionate, like-minded people who want to make a positive change in their own lives and in the world. To share their own personal experiences of mindfulness and meditation, and how they bring awareness, kindness and connection into their daily lives. We explore all these topics in a playful and thoughtful way, and the focus is on making everything real and practical so it actually helps us, wherever we are and whatever we’re doing.

We organise small events and workshops based around meditation, the mind, love, empathy and compassion, photography, and more. We’re keen to combine personal experience with the latest scientific research, exploring how simple tools for happiness and well-being that have been used for centuries can be of most benefit in the modern world.
