Monday Funday!
We are done with Kent's (amazing work everyone!) and now we're headed to Pine Drops clean up a few more drains and do some brushing. No experience necessary just the desire to give back to your trails. We'll take care of the training, the tools, PPE, and after work beverages. Long pants and closed toed shoes are required. Please bring water and any food you might need. Also, don’t forget to bring appropriate layers.
Bend Chapter meeting is Tuesday the 21st and it's a ride so be sure to sign up for it as well (also on Meetup). Great way to learn more about COTA and meet new people.
How to find us:
Meet at Road 300. We will carpool up to Pine Drops.
When: We plan to hit the trail at 5:30. Please arrive 5-10 minutes early, so we can have an on-time start.
Be prepared to work and to have FUN! Talking about the trails and the techniques used to maintain them is fun, so ask questions if you have them.
Women of COTA began as a way to on bring women together in a supportive environment to learn about COTA and the trail building/maintenance process. We are now open to all including non-members. r
Plan on working snow, rain or shine. If there is inclement weather, smoke from wildfires, or anything COTA deems dangerous, I will update this Meetup page and also send an email to everyone out through Meetup. If you do not hear from me, the event is on.
