Talk #1:
Moving towards GitOps, challenges and rewards
Is GitOps the next step in automation? Is infrastructure-as-code not the same thing as GitOps? Those are just some of the questions that arose in our team when we first heard about GitOps. Next thing we knew, we ended up implementing a GitOps workflow and tech-stack that would automate our work to the next level!

This talk will provide a short introduction in to what GitOps is, why we chose to head into this direction, challenges that we face(d) during our journey, the things we love and of course a small demo with our tool of choice: ArgoCD

Hugo is a DevOps engineer at Alliander who loves to learn new things, deliver cool software and enjoys birdwatching in his spare time.

Denise is a Java Developer at JCore with a passion for innovation, a good dose of curiosity, and a love of sharing knowledge. She enjoys teaching golf on her days off.

it will be about how we incorporated the right tools in a cause of year long effort and what benefits we managed to get out from it. It involves a variety of knowledge areas from Management, DevOps, Team leading and so on
